What Stresses Millennials?

Here’s GW Bush launching the Housing Bubble at his 10/15/2002 White House Conference on Increasing Minority Homeownership, in which he told his federal regulators that old-fashioned credit standards like down payments & documentation caused race gaps:

If you’ve got it, you can try trading. Some of us here came from a trading forum and there is a trading thread. That’s if… :joy::joy::joy:

That it is one of the factors and it is absolutely jacking up prices, artificially. The real demand locally isn’t there.

Typically a housing bubble is when it threatens an entire Nations economy, much like what is happening in China currently. The US is not at that point yet. In larger cities I can see this as an issue with rising costs, especially in places like New York, San Fran, and LA. Chicago, they can have it for all I care.

Also - let’s cut the bullshit and talk about what really stresses millennials. Nobody has explained to me yet how the bond market is going to survive Peak Boomer. We have exactly one decade until Peak Boomer, the point at which the most living boomers are claiming the most retirement savings.

The municipal bond market is going to make the housing bubble look like a stroll in the park. Yet…millennials are all fucked up because …reasons.

My best sellers are the 3" mortar tubes. We usually have about 6,000 grams worth of black powder left over to play with, so I like to array all the fuses together and light everything off at the same time. In 2017 (most leftovers so far), we enjoyed 90 seconds of constant explosions, starting at 0:31 in the video.

'Murica! Fuck Yeah! lol

Sure it is but I covered this issue in a separate thread.

That’s easy for you to say and that’s not a solution. The fact is the cities and their surrounding areas are where jobs are concentrated. if millennials can’t afford to enter the housing market in those locations, see my points above (i.e., no family, no home ownership, no marriage, etc).

I guess not everyone can live bumfuck nowhere and sell fireworks out of the back of their trailer.

Again with the spamming of worthless videos.

Naa. Thats just making excuses. I am just pointing out the realities of being competitive in the job market! Millenials are very short on making the effort, and there is many examples to support my view your just not willing to admit it! Go live in a different country for awhile to get some perspective then come back, I am sure you will things quite a bit different. Its why Asians kick ass, they don’t make excuses or blame their problems on others, they just work their asses off! And BTW, most hate socialism!

Millennials are short on making the effort but comprise the largest segment of the workforce. Explain the delta between what you are saying and reality.

I was stationed in Korea for 2 years homey.

We were making jokes about underwater basket weaving when I was in college.

Korea is not a real deployment. Neither is Kuwait.

I wasn’t asked about real deployments or not. He mentioned that I should go live in a foreign country which is something that I’ve already done. Try paying attention there sparky.

Good for you. That is being in the service. Did you hold a private sector job while being overseas? I am guessing you haven’t and is not the same Did you learn to speak the local language? Learn local customs, travel more abroad then being sheltered by the military?

I’d recommend the same. You were merely a tourist on vacation in Korea while in the Military. You didn’t “live” there.

Recently saw a pin wondering, since NK hasn’t been at war in decades, about all the medals that NK generals have … even pinned to their legs they’ve run out of room on their coats.

Officers have “thanks for showing up” medals all week. lol

We can talk about my personal experiences and preferences (love green jolly ranchers, walks on the beach, hypoallergenic dogs, wild boar, etc) at a later point. Right now you are derailing this thread. Let’s stay on topic.
