Originally, Russia only wanted independent Lugansk and Donetsk.
Russia conquered (parts of) Zaporozhia and Kherson because Ukraine kept on attacking Lugansk and Donetsk.
Things get too complicated when there is a proxy involved. Why do I get the impression this war is not real?

Where do they go now is the bigger question. My guess is to establish a new front line and new DMZ in order to get the new territory secure. The problem is now they have the green light with new F-16âs. (Not that will make a difference, however Russia will not underestimate it and must neutralize this threat.

If I understand Scott Ritter and Col MacGregor correctly, the Russians know exactly where the key Ukrainian assets are located. And Abrams tanks and F16s donât make any difference.

The bigger picture question is will Russians allow this to continue into another winter lull that continues into next year? What benefit will that be if allowed?
Holy crap! These captured soldiers look old as fk! Why? War does that to a person! Look at the birth dates these soldiers reveal.
The speaker is obviously a Chechen, a Muslim. (Chechens speak good Russian, only with a slight accent, because through their school education they learn Russian)
Of course it is much wiser to surrender and to live than to die useless deaths. What bothers me is that except for one guy, the POWs are ethnic Russians. Fake borders were finalized in 1991 when the Soviet Union collapsed. Their native towns should have been in Russia, not in the fake state of Ukraine. Then this fake war wouldnât have happened.
That I am not sure about, of course if you take into account the Bio-labs and NATO issue then the impetus to invade might not have changed.
There is no âifâ in history, but IF the division between Russia and Ukraine had been finalized with Kharkov, Donbass, Zaporozhia, Kherson, and Odessa to be included in Russia, based on the language and ethnic divide, Ukraine would be a much smaller and weaker country without any industry to speak of.
Zelenskyâs home town is also in the Russian-speaking region and his native language is Russian. I heard his Ukrainian isnât as good as his Russian.
Might be easier if we shipped equipment directly to Russia

This was/is done under something called DUAL USE research - it increases lethality in humans, is studied to create pharmaceuticals to treat the pathogen if it were to get out into the population (i.e. a Bio Weapon)

Now is the time that we must negotiate carefully as this may not end well for any of us, but its apparent that the US needs to be held accountable for this.

This guy says they donât have enough body bags for all the dead Ukrainian soldiers coming in. Pretty bleak situation and its a senseless tragedy led by no other than the US and their puppet Zelensky!
He is a believable military analyst, I think
