HONG KONG Protests ***UPDATE!***

Wan Sui! :rofl::rofl::laughing:

Update.

Things seem to be getting back to normal as voters recently spoke at the ballot box in the most recent elections in HK which gave pro Democracy groups landslide victories. Buses are running again, Subway stations are open and the streets are getting cleaned up as traffic is resuming normal flows. The only remaining issue is Carrie Lam who clearly doesn’t want to let go of power but in due time she too will be ousted as most Pro Democracy supporters despise her and her policies!

Does this mean China backs off?

Who knows. Yes for now as the short answer, but their meddling I am sure will be to subvert the voting process by propping up their candidates in future elections.

The Chinese Regime are one despicable bunch.

Like any of this will happen:

  • Respect the “one country, two systems” model and adhere to the Joint Declaration and Basic Law—the documents that enable Hong Kong to remain economically strong and renowned for good governance.

  • Refrain from deploying the military in Hong Kong or from using the military or hired gang members to attack protesters, which will only tarnish China’s reputation on the international stage.

  • End restrictions on media coverage and censorship of online conversations within China related to the unfolding events in Hong Kong.

  • Cease the propagation of disinformation and false narratives about the events in Hong Kong within and outside of China.

HK is like the Asian version of Hawaii. Lot of natural wonders here. One place that is an absolute gem that still has a lot of the Victorian age accoutrements to it, is the Peninsula Hotel. Go have Tea there, its like going back in time, with its fine silver ware, grandesque Ballroom scenery and along with a stringed quartet playing Chopin while enjoying your fine desert. Truly an amazing experience and a must do on any list of things to see when visiting Hong Kong.

Another look at Hong Kong from the skies!

Awesome video produced by my company.
