You implicitly equated them bc you included them in the same post stating that Stalin/Mao/Hitler were all evil.
Problem with your argument is that if we were right to go to war with Hitler we could just as easily have fought the Russians and that would have been a better moral outcome.
Those men were evil, they were not saints, did you notice I included John Gotti in there too, he wasn’t political .

the problem with your argument is , you don’t know the facts, the allies made a faustian bargain with the Soviets to beat a greater enemy in Hitler, as he was on the verge of defeating England but for whatever reason, God, Fate, or just plain luck he turned his attention to the Soviet Union
Now after FDR died and Truman took over , why he didnt march east to take out the Russians is anyone guess, who knows what FDR would have done if he didnt die, would Stalin give up the areas the Red conquered from the Nazis or would FDR do the same thing Truman did.
We will never know.

nobody knows what would have happened as the Americans saw first hand what the Nazi found out when battling the Soviets in the wintertime, I dont the American public would stand for more American lives being lost.
Hence why Truman decided to drop the Atomic Bomb on those two japanese cities.

Attacking the Soviets at the end of the war makes perfect sense to a child with no education and no understanding of history. It would have taken years, maybe even more than a decade to defeat them and in the end we might not have even been able to.
We had no more nuclear bombs to drop after Hiroshima and Nagasaki and it would have taken months, maybe even a year to produce even one more.
The country was also war weary by August of 45 and barring a direct attack by the Soviets on the US there’s absolutely no way the American Public would have been willing for us to go to war with them.
Defeating the Soviets would also have cost more than million US lives.
About 5.5 Million German Soldiers and 1.5 million German civilians died on the eastern front. The soviets lost in total around 30 million soldiers and civilians and Stalin didn’t even bat an eye at the numbers. He would have gladly sacrificed another hundred million if that’s what it took to stand off an attack by the US.
Stalin was an absolute madman who never cared one wit about the losses he sustained to accomplish any goal.
He killed more of his own people in the purges that followed the war than the Germans killed.
We could have eventually defeated the Soviet Military but we would still be fighting Russian Communist insurgents to this day.
