I guess you thought you could sneak “the red cross” in there as though they were all caring social workers with no care of creed or religion. Problem is… the Nazis were not going to give the German Red Cross a free hand. Read and learn.

The link I posted referred to the ICRC the I means International ie not German.
I would expect the German red cross to look after German soldiers - same as ours looked after British soldiers.

The ICRC has already admitted complacency. They simply rolled over when the German Red Cross told the ICRC to stop asking about ■■■■■ And so as to not jeopardize the ICRC’s ability to look after our soldiers they mostly turned a blind eye when ■■■ were involved… saving only few.

Your linked report from those years means nothing. The full record of complicity and the apology did not come out till the 90s.
