They end up with court dates years in the future and disappear into this country never intending to make a court appearance isn’t a national emergency? Illegals killing American citizens isn’t a national emergency?

Agreed! I love the fact that he called a spade a spade and basically spoke the Truth about the RINOS, and Democrats putting their political ambitions ahead of American Citizens interests. It was beautiful to watch and was well succinctly stated!
If you believe everyone has a right to cross our border and there is no differentiation between an illegal and an American citizen then they would be opposed to a wall.
Or, if the hatred of Trump overrules the common sense of securing our border, citizens and treasure then you have those opposed to the wall out of spite.
When the two groups unite out of a common cause, along with the media on their side they gather more lemmings and momentum. Social democrats then have the support they need to play hardball even though they were for it before they were against it.

Dems and Republicans got together and created a bipartisan bill to increase border security. Trump is throwing a temper tantrum because “nobody knows walls better than me”. So he feels he has more knowledge about the needs of CBP than Congress does.
Republicans caved in order to avoid another shutdown. There was nothing bipartisan about the garbage legislation. They also knew that Trump would use executive power to get his wall, so there was no need to fight this battle.
You implied that Trump would simply redirect funds willy nilly. That simply isn’t the case. The funds were allocated loosely for border and drug enforcement in various agencies. Trump is simply defining how those funds will be used in support of the original congressional appropriation.
I don’t care why they did it… but they did. With all of the infighting in congress, we should celebrate when they come to a bipartisan agreement.

Once again you are making stuff up. The funds in question are border funds and Drug enforcement funds. Those funds were appropriated to be used for those purposes. It is up to the executive branch to decide how they will be specifically used, within that appropriation. In the past, this would have been done with no fanfare. But this is Trump, and he can’t be allowed to do anything because he isn’t a legitimate President.
