Caravans arent the problem. The last 2 caravans became a non issue. We didnât have 7k people sneaking across the border. As a matter of fact, the made their way to a port of entry.
Making these caravans out to be some sort of boogie man isnât working. Even with those caravans, we are at record lows for illegals border crossings.

Its obvious that congress hasnt read the statue, as the President can declare a national emergency whether its under the Immigration and Naturalization act or national emergency act.
Maybe you should read the Congressional Research Service report and their latest opinion on this from August 2007 , Trump isnt granting himself authority to build the wall, he is following the statue passed by congress

Trump signed a bipartisan bill. That bill had border security funding. If he was going to declare an emergency, then why did he wait this long? There hasnât been a âcaravanâ in months. If that is the boogie man, why did he wait?

It really is the central issue for American citizens, the tax payer! The political class in DC think nothing of spending money when its not theirs! Each of the listed sections brings DoD resources to bear on the crisis at the southern border:
10 U.S.C., Section 12302 (Activation of the Ready Reserve) authorizes involuntary activation of the Ready Reserve, which includes members who, when mobilized, perform a federal mission at the direction of the secretary of defense. This allows the Secretary of Defense to activate military members currently on inactive duty in the Ready Reserve (Inactive Ready Reserve) to be activated should he see fit.
10 U.S.C., Section 284(b)(7) (Counterdrug Support) authorizes DOD to support the counterdrug activities of other federal agencies, including DHS, with the construction of roads, fences, and lighting to block drug smuggling corridors across international boundaries. DOD will review and respond appropriately to any request for assistance received from DHS. âFencesâ are not defined in section 284(b)(7) and courts would likely agree that any physical barrier would meet the description.
Per 10 U.S.C., Section 2808 (Military Construction (MILCON)), this declaration of a national emergency at the southern border requiring the use of the armed forces authorizes the secretary of defense to determine whether border barriers are necessary to support the use of the armed forces and to re-direct unobligated DOD MILCON funding to construct border barriers if required. Section 2808 is less ambiguous. It authorizes border barriers as the Secretary of Defense sees fit.
When President Trump said he had a plan to get $8 billion for border barriers, he meant it. And these provisions donât come with the handcuffs included in the funding bill signed by the president today."

You can keep repeating that, but it wonât make it true. A President absolutely can reallocate funds without approval of Congress to address emergencies ⌠which he has the power to declare.

Apparently you must think that someone here is privy to Trumpâs inner circle. Why on earth do you keep demanding answers to questions that you must know, nobody here has the access to be able to answer?
Furthermore, just because you ask those questions and donât get answers does not mean that Trumpâs decisions were not well thought out. Your persistence is nothing more than a smoke screen to cover your own ignorance and to criticize something that you know nothing about because your ilk expects you to be against everything Trump says or does.
