This Is What Pisses Me Off About Trump

He inherited some and made tons more.

Trump isn’t smooth, polished, he’s not a politician.

People expect him to be as slick as Obama which he is not.

Yup. He had the right combination.

I know. God bless the man. I love him for not being a politician. I hate the double talk. If gives me a headache trying to figure out what is really being said.

Eh, I’m not sure anyone could match the worship level of the Messiah, that cocaine snorting, choomer, girl jean on a bicycle icon that he is

I share Samm’s opinion as well.

Generalizing about anything is a sure sign of intellectual laziness.

What I see is that you don’t have an answer.

What are they? Be specific.

They should either tape his thumbs down, take away his phone, and/or assign an official twitter responder.

He and his twitter account are responsible for about 90% of his negative press and the inability therefore for most of the public to see how well off the country currently is compared to the Obama years.

If Trump could simply check his ego and quit taking cheap shots and responding to every little criticism of him personally republicans would still hold the house, and probably with considerably larger margins in both houses.

His core supporters which are a very small group love the childish quips, cheapshots, and slapping back but all it does is hurt his cause along with ours.

By creating a new media storm every day about his latest idiotic tweet.

When your enemy is filling you with body and head shots quit giving them ammo!

Wellll…To be fair, their were a lot in congress that road the very same issues in 2016… repeal of Obamacare, immigration and veterans… They kind of back peddled when it came to action… Ryan in fact was the biggest shuck and jive artist in the 2016 elections.

To me, that was much of the chaos of the first year. He had no politically savvy people in his inner circle so on the advice of people like Reince Priebus he surrounded himself with people who indeed knew how to navigate Washington but were in no way aligned with his positions. It has taken him time to find out who actually works for him and who works against him. People say that his staff turnover is a bad thing… I see it as that fleshing out of his learning curve… but I still think he needs to solidify his principles and sell them to the American people in more than 140 character bursts…

I’m not sure you understand our system of Gov’t. Trump made those promises under the assumption a republican congress would follow through but in the end they folded on most of it.

We elect a president, not a king or a dictator and they can only push to get programs and legislation through congress. It’s up to the congress to then act on his/her agenda.

Something as big as the wall and properly increasing the staffing of the BP and ICE isn’t something that can be done simply with a pen and phone.

I think mostly he’s an overly emotional guy with a highly over inflated ego who does stupid things when he lashes out but other than that, at least in business he’s very sharp. Unfortunately he’s as unprincipled as he is smart.

What is your rationale that he is not dumb? Do you know the man personally? IQ wise, he is probably above average (slightly) but the way he handles criticism and conflict is dumb dumb dumb. And his habit of speaking in superlatives just exacerbates the fact that he is perhaps the least articulate President in modern history (so inarticulate that he makes Bush 43 sound like a scholar.) In short, he is his own worst enemy, because he is too dumb to keep his mouth shut (which includes tweets.)

Precisely.

I can ask the same of you Samm, do you know the man personally? I don’t.
My rationale , you cant be the head of a successful group of companies if you’re dumb, sure you will come back with " he inherited" his money.

Truth be told he got a loan (several) from his rich daddy but he turned those millions into billions, if it was easy, every powerball winner would be a billionaire today despite their IQ or intelligence.

As in for Trump saying dumb things, you will get no arguments here, he does say dumb thing, you and others talk about Trump speaking in superlatives, well Samm, he is like a chameleon, changing with the crowd he is trying to appease.

he knows by speaking the way that he speaks caters to a certain crowd, by speaking down to their level, showing them that he is not the pro washington smooth talking life long career politician like Hillary and others.

Everybody knows Trump isn’t Noam Chomsky , heck even Obama isn’t Chomsky, so to nitpick Trump for his spelling and use of superlatives is just cherry picking because you despise the guy.

And why I think or believe Trump isn’t dumb, if you watch his earlier TV appearances from the 80’s to 90’s on the Talk show circuit he tends to play down or up to the audiences.

As in for him tweeting like he has tourettes and speaking the way he does now, appeals to that forgotten American crowd that believed the Democrats abandon them, the Country club republicans abandoned them

Going after him for the way he speak energises the base because they believe he represents them and speaks like them and it’s free publicity, that isn’t the mark from a “dumb” person.

People underestimate him and that is how he gets over on a lot of people, kind of reminds me of Reagan, playing the helpless old forgetful guy and you get him in a room and you think Ive got this and Reagan does a 180 and boom, its check mate.

This is how Trump beat Hillary, and if he runs in 2020 how he will beat the Democrat front runner.

Like I said , that isnt the sign of a dumb person.

It’s obvious that most posting here don’t have a clue how a “street fighter” operates. Trump is always one step in front of his detractors. Remember all the wringing hands when he called the little pot bellied clown “rocket man”? You always make your crazy enemy think you crazier than they are. It’s comforting looking at several of these post just how easy it is for a man like Trump to stay several steps ahead of them.

As the left claim everyone on the right is a worshipper of Trump, a deplorable, uneducated, and flat out stupid. I know I have relatives who claim I’m all of the above. Who knew you could be uneducated with a BSE/MBA and a successful business person.

I learned a long time ago to dump people who try to drag me down. Relatives or not.

It is they (the media and left) that are obsessed.

Trump’s biggest mistake was underestimating the political power of the swamp members and the fact that the swamp is replete with Republicans and Democrats…none of which relish seeing their cash cow dismantled.

How many ex-Presidents can you name that donated their salaries back to the government?

How many can you name that financed their own campaigns without taxpayer funds?

How many of his worthy accomplishments so far (more than Obama did in eight years) can you name? The MSM certainly hasn’t published a list. If you do a search for them, Use Bing instead of Google…you’ll likely find more of them.

List some examples please.
