This Is What Pisses Me Off About Trump

The space between the “can” and “not” was intentional.

Good call @Samm

I did not realize I’d created confusion.

Truer words have never been posted.

Oh, but I do understand Samm. Trump gets almost as much criticism from our side as the other side – it’s just not quite as vicious – yet. Let’s look at the two sides. Their side has become out and out socialist, some bordering on marxist. All that matters to them is ideology. As long as you tow their ideological line, you can do anything, be a rapist, sexual predator, income tax cheat, take bribes and be a overall scumbag. Doesn’t matter. Long as you tow the line you will be loved, the media will fawn over you and you will be defended to the death.

On our side you will be continually critiqued and criticized for the least little thing. Our side actually looks for things to bitch about and nitpick – doesn’t matter how good a job our guy is doing. The democrats always present a solid wall against all criticism – we present no wall at all. Most of our side doesn’t have a clue how you swim and survive with sharks – they just want to be prim and proper. The fact y’all are arguing over whether he is a conservative or not lets me know how little you know what constitutes true conservatism. Name me one other president that has moved this country this far back toward conservatism in only 2 years – including Reagan, who I loved. This crap about “I like what he has done but I just don’t like him” is a crock. You either accept a all out fighter that gets things done hook or crook – or we lose the country – very simple proposition.

The question I asked DMK was this : who else in this country could do what Trump has done under the conditions he has had to work under?? I don’t know anyone and I doubt any of you do.

I am not questioning anyones love of country – all I’m saying is if we don’t get over this petty BS nitpicking and start presenting as solid a front as the democrats, the country is lost.

And the other option was less of a conservative than Trump.

Debatable, but I’ll concede the point to The Federalist Society.

A conservative can’t get elected to President in this country. Never could.

Great post. What has Trump done to move the country “back to conservatism”?

That’s not why we win. The reason we win is because we libs understand incrementalism while you cons are always seeking a savior.

Come on sneak – know you libs like to play dumb and the majority are – U strike me as one of the brighter ones. The list is above and conservatism for dummies is as follows: smaller government and more personal freedom.

I agree and along with that, ironclad discipline as in communism. You depend on as many people dependent on government as possible – I have always admired democrat leaderships ability to whip their membership in line.

That’s certainly not true. You can support the policies while still disapproving of the man.

Trump isn’t a conservative and never has been, he’s following a script to hang onto his base.

His presidency is a “reality show” that runs 24/7/365 x 4.

He has absolutely no core principles or beliefs of any kind and never has.

The only things that matter to him at all are his ego, his adoring fans, “the bottom line” as in profit, and perhaps to some degree I think how his grandchildren will see him in decades to come.

Like “the border wall”, they loved the idea 8 years ago.

No, I have posted truer words than that before many times.

If you understand all that, why do you accuse anyone who disagrees with you about Trump as a liberal?

No offense, but a lot of confusion on this board could be avoided if people read what other people post rather than what they think those people meant to post.

And I answered you.

You are correct in your first two paragraphs.
Liberals work as a team. I believe this is because they have more of a dependent nature whereas conservatives have more of an independent nature making the “hive mind”, “group think” almost impossible.

You didn’t answer the question. What has Trump done to move the country “back” to conservatism?

Balderdash and poppycock.

A savior like Obama???

Only a small number of people actually worship the demagogue leaders. But we seem to be getting more and more of this type leader, the rock stars, etc.

Saviors like Reagan and Trump.

Clinton, Roosevelt, the list is endless.

Th most revered.

Clinton no. Roosevelt became one.

You have yet to even comprehend the original question.

Ahh, sneaky, you just lazy as hell – re-read the definition of conservatism for dummies – then go over the list – it’s all there. But that’s a little bit of effort – and you’re not really looking for answers, are you?

BTW I can see why you love having most of these folks as your competition. If the competition was all like me, you and all the other sneaky socialist - marxist clowns would be history and the country, it’s constitution and laws restored as laid out by our founders.

Outta here – wasting my time.
