It’s good to lag behind.
It’s more insightful to read newspapers which are months, even years old, because that way you’ll know where the mainstream wants to take you to.
" (Paul) Warburg’s task was to find the suitable man in Germany, and he entered into contract with Adolf Hitler who subsequently received sums of money amounting to 27 million dollars up to January 30, 1932, and still another seven million thereafter, enabling him to finance his movement" De geldbronnen van het Nationaal-Socialisme: drie gesprekken met Hitler by Sydney Warburg

"If there was one thing that opened up my eyes to how corrupt the food industry is… it’s how big food companies, like McDonald’s, Pepsico, and Heinz reformulate their products with safer ingredients to sell in other countries.
McDonald’s french fries without dimethylsiloxane, Mountain Dew without artificial colors, and Heinz Ketchup without high fructose corn syrup are all provided to our friends overseas, while they continue to sell dramatically inferior versions here in America.
It’s unethical and the hypocrisy needs to stop.
If a company can make safer products without these chemicals for other people, why won’t they do this for their own American citizens?"

I still wouldn’t touch any of that, other than ketchup. There is a French ketchup that is only tomatoes, vinegar, salt, ■■■■■■ and honey. I make my own ketchup.
Eating out in America makes me feel ill. You think you’re getting the same when you order a McDonald’s but it is vastly different.
Edit:
What is wrong with “spi -ces?” Is a food ingredient banned here?
You shouldn’t really drink more juice than what you can eat of the whole fruit - it would be better to smoothie the lot, minus the peel obviously.
By juicing, you are extracting the sugar. There are two food groups that lower insulin; fat and fibre. Nature has it covered to keep you healthy. If you ate the entire sugar cane instead of just the extracted sugar, you’d be fine.
