No I never watch that. It winds me up too much, plus I am sort of allergic to the BBC.
Iâm sure it wonât concern them either way, the invite is probably seen as an opportunity to encourage me to get some jab or another or on statins.
That was too cryptic Ex ? Jack Bruce from Cream ? Mighty Quinn another good blast from the past
Ok I lied it was
As a rule I donât either, the hand picked (random my arse) audience is just too much to tolerate but as it was close to home, might try and stomach it later.
Apparently some half caste woman on a rant about racism with ginger nut and his mrs, of course she happened to be a lecturer in some bullshit like race studies and had the audacity to say to a guy on the panel about his white, male privilege.
Iâve read about that Alex I think or listened to interview with US weapons engineer.
Yes, Jack Bruce from Cream. He just seemed to vanish.
Ginger Baker joined an airforce
Everyone knows about Eric Clapton
Jack Bruce ⌠joined another fantastic band it seems
Oh I didnât know that ? Being with Ginger Baker would make anyone disappear, he was totally crackers !
Rather difficult to recognise Eric from a 60s photo butâŚ
Laurence was brilliant - called out the race lobby and twitter exploded.
Start from 18
I think it was one from this guys playlist, there are quite a few from the military that understand their systems.
Thanks Mag will check it out.
I just tried to watch some of it and slipped into a coma. Itâs like watching paint dry
I did like that a couple of the panelists admit that the âpoor meâ bullshit from certain politicians and minority groups has worn a bit thin now, and it is time curtail it.
I have read so much on âthis is bad for you, this is good for youâ advise.
I remember when margarine was âthe thingâ. I couldnât stand it. I wouldnât eat the stuff. I have always believed if it comes naturally from this earth as a healthy food source, eat what you want in moderation.
Rotate between chicken, fish and meat with plenty of vegetables and fruit.
I never crave junk food or sweets. However, there are times when I crave something like olives, sardines or liver (for example). When I do, I know my body is deficient in something so I go with it.
For those that are health conscious, IMHO, it is important to understand your own needs and take care of them accordingly. What may be right for one person may not be right for another based on their individual footprint.
I am highly skeptical of the science which has said, âeggs or XYZ is bad for youâ, etc. only to turn around later and reverse their opinion.
Itâs only fairly recent that I realised most of the nutritional advice is based on very poor quality studies and it doesnât matter what the subject matter is, from meat to peas the data is weak across the board. Itâs quite shocking at what is considered evidence and do wonder who the hell allows all this crap to pass muster.
Agreed. I long ago learned not to pay attention to nutritional studies.
However, my last blood test shows polycythemia, vitamin D and B12 deficiencies.
That is hard evidence; I can adjust my diet and add supplements to accommodate.
Ohhh, nice!
Riddle me this? How can a person who lives in SW Florida, land of Groundhog Sunshine have a vitamin D deficiency? I find that hilarious.
In all regards, moderation is the call of the day. No matter what you do, donât overdo it!
