No I wasnât. Did I refer to this Supreme Court ruling? You put two and two together and saw something in your head. Boris said we are leaving on the 31st as the law stands. The Benn act demands he has to request an extension from the EU if no deal is struck. Thereby in itself is a conflict in UK law. You cannot make someone do something they do not want to do! If someone wonât do their job, you sack them, not prosecute! However, the opposition refuse to call a vote of no confidence in Boris because that would lead to a general election. Boris said, âlet the people decide.â Labour said no. Do you know why? Because Boris would stomp it. How is that for democracy. You lefties only bleat on about democracy when it goes your way. When it doesnât, you want a dictatorship.
The Supreme court only said the suspension was illegal. It gave no directive. What should Boris do, go back to the Queen? That is how it works here, they canât just reopen the doors. What if Boris wonât do it? The Queen will only listen to her Prime Minister, no one else. Then what? Jail Boris? What for, not doing his job? You libs would love that.
Article 50 says we are leaving on the 31st. That is the Lisbon treaty as well as UK law. Unfortunately or fortunately we are still part of the EU and have to abide by the Lisbon Treaty. That is in direct conflict of the Benn act if no deal is struck. Which one takes precedence? Obviously EU law. So why are you getting your knickers in such a twist when I simply state the bleeding obvious?

âŚand in the Lisbon Treaty the UK Supreme Court was subjugated to the European Courts of Justice. Therefore the UK no longer has dominion over its own laws.
