Sarge thanks for sharing this personal experience, I really get a truer sense that you guys are the forgotten warriors that were never appreciated enough. Sorry about your buddies passing, and I truly lament that I never had the opportunity to meet them. I say there are very few who are worthy of my pen and you might be one who is. The reason I say this, is because I keep an active journal usually daily and I try to write and keep a record of my wandering thoughts in this today culture of lunacy where I try to make sense of it. Your previous, post about "how many of you are dying off, spurned an entire thread of thoughts in which I write these down with a deeper sense there is something to seeing. I always come back with a poignant thought in how many of today’s world has lost touch with the natural world and thus have no idea what is really real anymore. Sadness of this salient perspective always comes back to me to reflect further.
Yesterday I had a conversation with my brother, ya know the one who is the full bird currently active duty in the Marine Cor? We were talking about the current state of our country and usually he is a little cynical about his outlook on things, but he said something that really made me think of your statement on a deeper level; I said to him that conservatives need to get their heads out of their asses or else we are going to lose our country. His reply was we already lost the country. This of course was in the context of talking about the possibility of Bloomberg running in 2020 and how his anti gun platform is a major motivation for him to run, thus if he ends up winning the presidency and defeating Trump how screwed we will be. His next reply was about how our education system has been infiltrated with Marxists teaching our children and that it has been going on for a long time and will be hard to stop it now.
Where your statement comes in of course is that its true, that many conservatives are dying everyday, and the Social Marxists who infiltrated our education systems has brainwashed a few generations into making conservatives the adversary within our political system are merely waiting for the rest to die off so to insure they have the majority to institute their brand of socialism in America. As it stands now, very little is being challenged in the way of voter fraud, immigration, social entitlements, and illegal rigging by the elite political class or more precise the systemic corruption in DC in the way of Chinese lobbyists money that is dividing our country. Apathy has for the most part given way to the Clintonistas to act with impunity to infest like a virus over many years to corrupt our most sacred institutions. There is of course way more variables I am leaving out that are also contributing to our own demise, but my point is, if something major doesn’t happen within the next 2 years to challenge democrats and their blatant corruptions, scandals as well as the RINOS who side with multinational corporations to sell our country out, then Trump is really only prolonging the inevitable.
Just food for thought, as your words made me reflect on this lucid thought process that furthers my lament that “change” is unrecognizable, especially when reading things like transgenders being able to compete equally with women in sports and beauty contests, or the Chinese stealing our tech, and our own tech companies committing corporate treason by getting in bed with the CHICOMS to help develop ideas like their "social credit system and the systematic ongoing process to go after our 1 and 2nd amendment rights, is something to give me pause in light of realizing that once people like you are gone, our numbers start dwindling unless we start challenging these traitors and get in the fight now we will ultimately will lose and the “Orwellian State” will be in full effect soon. Time is a wasting, and as the saying goes, time is wasted on the youth! Like I said, we need to wake up soon!

You are preaching to the converted Jen. I agree but it’s not in the script. Cameron also said that someone should lead the Government who believed in Brexit and then they gave us May who believed in remain. It’s been rotten from the very beginning.

Got lot of the same feelings, Doc. My most memorable run to the wall was 2004. We arrived at Dumfries on Thursday. The main rolling thunder event occurred on Sunday – they were dedicating the new WWII memorial on Saturday. The bunch were going to do some rid’in and end up at Arlington at the tomb of the unknown – always a unique experience. I got up early Friday morning and rode into DC by myself. I spent all day drinking beer and going from kiosk to kiosk. I met all sorts of WWII vets, from the merchant marine (one of the highest death rates of the war, percentage wise) to paratroopers to rangers that scaled the cliffs on D Day. Talked to bomber crews from the mighty eighth to fighter pilots that protected them. As you know, vets will talk with other vets about how things really were. As I was chatting with these men of iron, the thought kept running through my mind – what do you think about the condition of today’s USA you sacrificed so much for. I never did ask that question as I didn’t want to spoil the mood. I thought about that question many times during the bammer reign. I think we may well have fallen off the cliff – and I’m not sure our chute will open in time to save us. Hate like hell being negative, but I’m a realist and all ya gotta do is leave the RH and go read the posts.
