The Rabbit Hole

Were our boats within 200 miles of China?

Entering Chinaā€™s legitimate territorial waters would be a mistake, so I very much doubt it.

China regularly and arbitrarily claim things as their own even after 100,s of years where they once occupied territory! US and Britain are within their right to navigate the seas under current international recognised laws!

You should read the Huawei indictments before rushing to Chinaā€™s defense!

They already are lurking in your waters! Ever heard of a submarine?:sunglasses:

Hey, why are you assuming I am defending China? I am only asking some questions. Itā€™s not something I know about so am trying to learn. Youā€™re quick to jump to conclusions.

You really are stuck up your own arse, arenā€™t you.

Indeed Sarge! I am disgusted by the lack of accountability of those aforementioned institutions! What worries me even more is the appointment of Barr and what he is going to do once sworn in as the new AG! Why Trump went with him who basically is an establishment insider for most of his career is a little confounding to say in the least!

I am just messing with you Jen! Hee wiz lighten up Francis!

Yeah.

An underwater tomb! Yikes!

Should I buy a Huawei phone? Are they any good? They are so cheap. How do they compare to Samsung?

I actually heard that they are pretty good. The phone feature has a Leica 3D photo feature, and are unique in terms of the screen resolution and their colors. They are wired for 5G but I seriously doubt they will be around long due to their recent troubles. From what I read from another report the US Trade commission is considering banning them from the US altogether so who knows how this whole thing is going to end up, but one thing is clear Huawei is part of the Communist PLA and always have been an apparatus of the Chinese Government initiatives in terms of their tech ambitions!

Iā€™m joking. Iā€™m happy with my S9+. Iā€™m suspicious of really cheap stuff. There are concerns for rolling out 5G here, something to do with China controlling us. I donā€™t know why the need for 5G anyway, you donā€™t need anymore than 4G. Why not just improve 4G to everywhere.

Long live the 101st!

From 1943, the United States Army Air Forces 78th Fighter Group was stationed at RAF Duxford, flying P-47 Thunderbolts and P-51 Mustangs.

For the next two years, the 78th Fighter Group played a crucial role in the air war over Europe, acting as escorts for bomber aircraft in the strategic bombing campaign and providing air support for D-Day operations.

All three squadrons of the 78th Fighter Group flew three missions each on D-Day itself, providing ā€˜area supportā€™ by attacking railway and other transport targets inland of the invasion beaches in order to disrupt any German attempts at a counter-attack.

Yeah I agree! I have been reading a lot about 5G and how it just means mainstreaming will be a lot faster. In my views it will just create more headaches for security breaches and of course China and Huawei were pushing this to gain an advantage in the spying capabilities. If you read the specifics in Mondays USDOJ announced indictment its pretty obvious what the Chinese are up to and what their intent is. One such transactions that they were talking about when skirting US Iran sanctions is where they deceptively money laundered a 100 million USDā€™s in a single transaction. That is pretty staggering when you think that it might raise a red flag? One would think anyway. I deal with this stuff on a daily basis with the contracts I negotiate and all careful meticulous attention to details has to be followed through to a ā€œTā€, so I am not sure how they thought they could get away with this.

Love the ā€œGoonie Birdsā€! One of the most reliable planes ever built! I believe some are still flying today in certain countries! They revolutionized commercial aviation!

A considerable part of the BT infrastructure is built on Huawei, but then they stole a considerable amount of tech knowhow from Cisco. I wouldnā€™t touch them with a barge pole

According to this, weā€™re less corrupt than you Yanks. Wow, that is saying something. The way we are run, I would have thought weā€™d be on par with a banana republic. Why is the US ā€œthe one to watch?ā€

The flaw in that report was Luxembourg being in the top 10. Everyone knows that Lux has tax avoidance as the nations top industry. I think the report is more a reflection of nations well equipped and able to disguise and hide corruption

I also wonder if the US falling is largely due to Obamaā€™s corrupt administration and the recent scandals involving the FBI and the DOJ. Hell its been well over a year later since the Las Vegas shooting and we still donā€™t have answers to the worst massacre in US history!
