Rather than have discussions that is predicated on the exchange of ideas, to them its much more satisfying to feed their confirmation bias’s, which gives them a sense of fellating security that becomes self gratuitous than serving a bigger purpose that can be considered productive and meaningful. Tribalism it appears is alive and well with these bot farm indulgees.

I can understand why Obama would direct the intelligence agencies to unmask Flynn but why on earth would outgoing Vice President Biden also unmask Flynn.

On Wednesday, responding to a request from Senator Charles Grassley, the acting director of national intelligence, Ric Grenell, declassified a list of 39 Obama administration officials who made unmasking requests between November 8, 2016, and January 31, 2017, that yielded Flynn’s name in National Security Agency intercepts.
The list is notable for its breadth. In addition to former vice president and current presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power and former White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough, it includes a number of ambassadors and Treasury Department officials.
This suggests that more senior government officials can request and receive information from these kinds of intercepts than the public realizes. This should raise concerns that the unmasking process is too permissive and available to too many people in government.
At the same time, the list of unmasking requests does very little to advance the public’s understanding of who leaked Flynn’s name to the press during the presidential transition. That was the reason Trump and his supporters took an interest in unmasking in the first place.
Flynn’s name was unmasked in an intercept of his December 29, 2016, call with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak. Former FBI director James Comey told the House Intelligence Community in 2017 that he ordered the unmasking and shared it with a small group within the intelligence community and Obama administration. That testimony was declassified last week as part of the Justice Department’s motion to drop charges against Flynn for lying to FBI agents in an interview about his call with Kislyak.

Rand Paul put it best in terms of needing severe reforms to this process. The FISA court should not be a secretive process and should be subjective to a regular judicial review when requesting FISA warrant like the same process most LEO agencies have to go through when requesting a warrant.

The warrants for Flynn as well as others were flawed and no attempt was made to ascertain the validity (truth) of the information in the requests.
I think Dollarinflation has a good point. Flynn may twist a little in the wind, but he now has public sentiment for his innocence on his side, so the longer and more ridiculous this story becomes, the more that the ones guilty for having created this entire mess n the first place get exposed. DOJ at this point have pretty much cut their Gordian knot from this case and now will sit on the sidelines as this circus shitshow takes over. They probably realized that what is happening now was a move that they predicted long ago was going to happen and do not want any part of. You remember the 13 Russians that were charged by Mueller, and their defense team submitted a motion for discovery? Mueller deep holed that one not expecting the defense lawyers in that case to request a trail by jury. Gee! What ever happened to that case? Hmmm?
What about attorney/client privilege?
In terms of recalling Flynn’s defense team? Anything that has already been disclosed in court both in discovery and testimony is open sourced. They can’t reveal what has been discussed during consultations. My Guess on why Sullivan wants them back is for them to give a statement on the particulars of the plea agreement and why Flynn fired them. In other words he is trying to see if there was any nefarious negotiations going on between prosecutor and his former defense team such as collusion. The fact of the matter is, the judge can’t bring new charges against Flynn, so he is on a fishing expedition.

He didn’t “admit”, he candidly disclosed sending FBI agents over to the White House to speak to Flynn, without the normal process, because the normal process wasn’t necessary. And that was due to the disorganization of Trumps White House. The great businessman was ill prepared for basics…
But there was certainly nothing wrong or illegal with what Comey did. He called Flynn and asked him if he would talk to a couple agents if he sent them over…Flynn said sure, and he did…

Flynn agreed because he had nothing to hide, and Comey violated proper procedure with false pretenses. It’s one of the main reasons the case was tossed out because you simply can’t interview and entrap someone if a formal investigation is not taking place. Based on your premise you simply expose how ignorant you are about how this process works, which is clueless!

Yeah I know Monte the Trump people weren’t up with the deep state code. Comey is pure as driven snow. All the evidence of the Southern Manhattan and FBI entrapments were figments of Barr’s imagination.
