The Green New Deal

with the millions of jobs that would be lost over this deal there’s gonna be plenty of starving people looking for whatever they can find.

We still have a 63.2% labor participation rate.

37% of our available workforce still sits home eating bon bons.

Look at the goofy attempts at mass transit today.

Light rail, a total joke. Costs’s billions for every line, over 100 million a mile and it requires high subsidies to run it. Our ticket cost 6 bucks 1 way actual cost 50 bucks. And they continue to build mile after mile.

One man’s waste is another man’s food on the table for his family.

Will it run one-way out of Bakersfield?

If you’ve ever been to Merced and bakers field you would laugh.

Merced Population: 78K
Bakerfield population: 376K.

Should be a great deal of traffic on that segment.

My point was, who would want to stay in Bakersfield?

The reason they chose thee to start was:

  1. Cheap accessible land.
  2. Test bed for the system.
  3. Flat with few obstacles.
  4. Few people to complain.

That’s only going to go higher as the rest of the Baby Boomers retire.

We just started hitting the peak of the baby boomers retiring about three years ago and it’ll go on for another 15. After that it tapers off dramatically as families started to get much smaller from the late sixties onward.

And it’s still been a literal train wreck.

Who would want to go to Madera???

U.S. cities with the worst air pollution
#5: Fresno-Madera, CA

Of course. It’s a cash cow between taxpayer funds and government subsidies. Why don’t these clowns ever come up in a discussion about people “on the dole?”

Maybe they need the bullet train to get out of Madera really really fast?
