A dismissal with prejudice precludes a second trial. There will be no second chance for the dimwitted prosecution. The young man was clearly defending himself.
There were many other armed people in the crowd that night. They were also carrying arms to protect themselves…not with a desire to “kill somebody”. Had they been attacked as Kyle was, they likely would have fired their weapons.
If I am ever in a similar situation wherein a person is attacking me physically (with or without a weapon) or attempting to take my weapon, I will shoot that person.

Gaige Paul Grosskreutz - has a forfeiture case for not showing obedience to officers, as well as one for loud noises. He was convicted of a criminal misdemeanor in 2016 for going armed with a firearm while intoxicated. He gave a West Allis address.
Anthony M. Huber - had a disorderly conduct conviction from 2018 as a domestic abuse repeater, which is a misdemeanor. He gave a Kenosha address. Here are the charges in that case:
