Frozen Iranian money was released as part of the JCPOA. Yes, that was far superior to risking a hot war and more American lives and treasure lost by this idiotic escalation by Trump. And again, particularly sense he promised to get us OUT. He’s been doing troop buildup all year. He’s a fraud and a charlatan.

I appreciate and respect your military service. What seems to defeat your closing sentence is that far from all Americans are fit to serve. Some haven’t the ability to get through the training required. Some are not permitted to sign up (too tall, too short, visually disabled, deaf, etc.) …but most all adults of those groups can be put to use supporting the military by providing the labor necessary to produce the wherewithal needed to train, maintain, supply, transport and arm the troops. Rosie the Riveter comes to mind, as do truck drivers, machinists, base maintenance personnel and such.
Without fuel and refuelers, pilots would become pedestrians. There’s much more to an army than the armed soldiers.
The USA began its existence with a costly war and has survived over 200 years because of its ability to wage and win wars. Humankind has been waging wars ever since large groups began attacking other groups to take the spoils. Aggression is tied to greed. Defense is tied to survival.
There will be wars and rumors of wars until mankind ceases to exist.
…and then, the primates will continue the practice.
Then perhaps those who aren’t fit to serve shouldn’t be so quick to push those who are fit to serve into a needless conflict that could result in their demise. I’m not entirely sure why the Trump base isn’t united in anger over this. I understood the first retaliation. Unfortunately this continues to ramp up and the neoconservatives who have been invited into the Trump administration are taking us for another ride in the Middle East…and way too many Trump supporters are all for it. This tells me that the original base is all but gone.

You keep saying he lied, he’s a fraud, he promised to get us out etc. He has been pulling troops out of the ME. But when they attacked and killed that contractor and then stormed the embassy all bets are off. I mean - I can promise to sit down and have a civil discussion with someone but if they punch me in the face all bets are off. The days of America apologizing to everyone are done and that pleases me. We are leaders- not people that let you punch them in the face and then pick up the bar tab.

It’s been completely consumed by the neocons. It’s why Tucker said what he said the other night, and he’s correct. Mexico has killed far more Americans than Iran and they continue to do so, completely unchallenged.
Tucker did great here, especially mentioning how Mexico is responsible for way more deaths than Iran supposedly is. But if you check the like/dislikes ratio and the comment section there are some stupid boomers knee-jerk reacting, as well likely some shill accounts.
Alot of americans were killed in Mexico recently, but we never even attempted to bomb them over it. I think that’s shitty.
