I have a few cousins who live in Culver City and one in Mt Shasta area and it’s night and day in comparison.
Southern. Born here lived elsewhere at times.

Sounds like the farming community I grew up at.
In my life time I owned 4 Belair, Three 57 hard tops and one 63 4 door. Loved them all!
I remember when I was a kid a neighbor from across the street had a 57 Chevy with grey primer on it, this of course was in the late 70’s, and I had thought it was such a cool aggressive looking car.
I remember this one too. Lol!
The old man had a 57 Nomad. Hard to believe a station wagon could be cool.
another super car was the 57 Roadmaster!
