President Trump late Monday announced on Twitter that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement will begin the process of “removing the millions of illegal aliens who have illicitly found their way into the U.S.,” but did not elaborate on what new measures will be taken.
“They will be removed as fast as they come,” Trump said.
Mark Morgan, the director of the agency, did not announce any new initiatives during his stop in Louisville on Sunday, where he spoke about the humanitarian and national security crisis at the border.
ICE did not immediately respond to an email from Fox News for comment.
An administration official said that the new effort would focus on the more than 1 million people who have been issued final deportation orders by federal judges but remain at large in the country.
“Countless illegal aliens not only violate our borders but then break the law all over again by skipping their court hearings and absconding from federal proceedings. These runaway aliens lodge phony asylum claims only to be no-shows at court and are ordered removed in absentia,” the official said. “… These judicial removal orders were secured at great time and expense, and yet illegal aliens not only refuse to appear in court, they often obtain fraudulent identities, collect federal welfare, and illegally work in the United States. Enforcing these final judicial orders is a top priority for Immigration and Customs Enforcement.”
Some in Trump’s administration believe that decisive shows of force — like mass arrests — can serve as effective deterrents, sending a message to those considering making the journey to the U.S. that it’s not worth coming
Unfortunately some moron liberal judge will put a stop to all efforts to deport ILLEGALS . Our president has to deal with road block after road block trying to enforce our laws and borders .
I don’t know. I think they have their ducks in a row this time. Apparently they are targeting only those who LOST their court case and thus received extradition orders in the mail, but never complied.
If the courts themselves ordered them out after they got their due process then I cannot see a judge blocking it.

ALL forces were arrayed against Trump when he took office; the media, globalists in his own party, the Democrats, the deep state bureaucrats… …you have no clue. Seriously? You obviously don’t know how the Senate works. The Democrats could block anything in the Senate, thus requiring a two-thirds majority to over-ride, and we did not have two thirds of the Senate. We only had a razor thin majority. Every bill the Dems filibustered got blocked. Senate minorities can block legislation. Study about it.
Besides, I also said it was Democrats AND never-Trumper Republicans.
On normal legislation, yes, it was the lack of a super majority. I think we had 52 or 53 seats, a simple majority, good enough to pass normal votes, but not good enough to stop Democrat filibusters.
The deep state comes in in regards to implementing policy. Things can grind to a halt of the bureaucracy drags its feet. Heck, I’ve seen that happen even in small businesses where I worked, people managing to not get done what a boss wants. I can only imagine what that is like when you oversee millions of “employees” who hate your guts.
Oh, he has botched up a few things for sure. I just don’t assume nefarious motives like you guys do. Making mistakes are doing things wrongly is not the same as the accusations of purposefully thwarting democracy that the Left accuses him of.
I will yield thaf total control was the wrong term but he had the majority and he failed to capitalize on that.
No one was willing to negotiate because he showed no leadership. A leader does not make fun of people or bully them publicly. Trump failed to build relationships which could lead to a negotiation. He thought being President would be like running his own family business where the only person he was accountable to was himself.
Trump did everything he could to negotiate with the dem’s having numerous WH summits with them. They chose to lock arms and refuse to cooperate in any way as a political ploy for the upcoming elections.
Quit pretending the democrats have clean hands here, they are filthy.
