How to take on Iran

Despite all the war rhetoric, Americans are slowly waking up.
Nobody is going to react the same way as in 911.

Yet another claim for which you have absolutely no basis in fact.

You simply spew nonsense from on high without any thought.

empty words, empty words
waste of everyone’s time

Simply factual. You can’t support the nonsense you constantly pour out with any verifiable fact.

I’ve never believed that Trump himself is a warmonger, it’s just not his gig. He loves the blustery rhetoric, and bellowing smoke, but I honestly (and quite thankfully) just don’t see him in that light. Now he certainly has a lot of the old guard around him that have advocated for regime change for 20 years or better but…

I love how unwittingly or not, he destroys the neocons argument, here on this board and at large, on the merits for war with Iran.

Speaking to TIME, Trump argued that the Gulf of Oman is less strategically important for the United States now than it used to be, citing China and Japan as nations that still rely on the region for significant proportions of their oil.

So, since China and Japan are the ones that traffic the majority of oil from the region, and it’s a Japanese ship that was attacked, let them provide for their own security…:+1:

Terrible things happen in war. Dresden comes to mind. My father was with OSS 101 during WW2. I met one of the men who served with my Dad. He said, I never asked to be dumped into that Green Hell asylum, that was the Burma jungle; but I was determined to come home; and so, “If it’s big enough to die, kill it”. OSS 101 was responsible for 15,000+ Japanese killed or wounded; and only 27 Americans died. The highest kill, lowest loss in the recorded history of American combat.

Long after WW2; in the 1960s ( Vietnam ), my father was contacted by the military, and asked if he would consider a commision & teach jungle warfare. He said no; and said no when he was asked the same thing right after WW2. Said he had already digested enough human misery for one man.

Fortunately there are no jungles in Iran

How to take on Iran. Just keep it simple.
Erase Tehran. Game over.

Or, drop smaller nukes on these.
Same ending, game over.

Yep, there would be far less war if it wasn’t for the fact that the young, innocent, ignorant of history and politics but nevertheless romantics, weren’t the ones sent to fight and die.

Yeah well he’s not making the decisions, and Trump thinks differently, and much more correctly on this. As he pointed out yesterday, the gulf of Oman no longer has the strategic importance to the US that it once did. It’s China and Japan that get most of their oil from there.

That’s true, and it was a Japanese ship that was attacked, and they are unconvinced that it was Iran. So time for everyone to back it up.

Whatever the Israel/■■■■■■■ does to Iran, it will meet its retribution from Russia. Iran most likely has nukes as well.

Nuking those sites would do no good at all unless you used deep penetrating nuclear bunker busters.

We can use simply kinetic energy weapons like the MOAB and DPBB and not worry about any radiation risk.

Seal them and let them become tombs for everyone and everything inside.

Russia couldn’t go toe to to with any modern army in a prolonged conflict and survive.

Their readiness is abysmal, morale worse, and they can’t even keep their own tech repaired and operational.

If Iran had a working nuke they’d have already demonstrated it.
