How to take on Iran

Nearly defeated by five combined armies which they routed and defeated.

All they got from US was a few C-130’s loaded with ammo, medical supplies, and a few spare parts.

Operation Nickel Grass was a strategic airlift operation conducted by the United States to deliver weapons and supplies to Israelduring the 1973 Yom Kippur War. In a series of events that took place over 32 days, the Military Airlift Command of the U.S. Air Force shipped 22,325 tons of tanks, artillery, ammunition, and supplies in C-141 Starlifter and C-5 Galaxy transport aircraft between October 14 and November 14, 1973.[1][2]

The entire war lasted only 19 days, the first supplies from the US didn’t even arrive until 8 days into the battle.

The heavy supplies, replacement vehicles etc were delivered after it was over.

The war: October 6 to 25, 1973
Operation Nickel Grass: October 14 - November 14, 1973.

Leaving aside, for the moment, your gratuitous (and highly inaccurate) comment about “western aggression in the Middle East” (as if, say, Russia were not propping up Bashar al-Assad in Syria): I am still trying, very hard, to figure out just why you might imagine that The US is fearful of Russia and China…

Exactly as I said, thanks for acknowledging it.

that the ■■■■■■■ saved Israel from defeat.

We certainly don’t know that to be the case. We did however make victory less costly for them and quicker.

Of course, you seem to conveniently forget the Russians supplying all of the other belligerents.

Bottom line: Israel is not invincible.

The U.S. Russia and Communist China know that a direct war would be ruinous for all. They are satisfied in using their proxies as a substitute.
The U.S. isn’t afraid of them ,only afraid of one or both using nuclear weapons if in a desperate situation .

No country is invincible. Israel however has won five consecutive wars against much greater forces starting in 48.

They also don’t let the undefeated record keep them from staying ready for the next war.

Israel has always been a tool for nefarious purposes.

The Suez Crisis , or the Second Arab–Israeli war ,[15][16][17] also called the tripartite aggression (Arabic: العدوان الثلاثي‎) in the Arab world[18] and Sinai War in Israel,[19] was an invasion of Egyptin late 1956 by Israel, followed by the United Kingdom and France. The aims were to regain Western control of the Suez Canal and to remove Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser, who had just nationalized the canal.[20] After the fighting had started, political pressure from the United States, the Soviet Union and the United Nations led to a withdrawal by the three invaders.

You seem to be skipping over most of the events starting with Nassir Seizing the Suez canal along with his supporting Arab Rebels in Israel and Algeria.

What’s your point?

My point is that the 1956 war against Egypt was conducted by the English, French and Israeli alliance. You can’t claim Israel alone won five consecutive wars.

Where did I say they did it all on their own?

Right here.

This implies Israel did it on their own, while it did not.

You have quite the vivid imagination. They took the entire Saini on their own and drove the Egyptians into Africa.

The French and Brits showed up two days late for the war.

The price to be paid, for the destruction of Washington, would be the incineration of Moscow (or Beijing, as the case might be).

Does anyone really believe that Russia or China–even in a most “desperate” situation–would regard that as an acceptable end?

Or that the US would, either (if the tables were turned)?
