Am I supposed to determine what is factual and what is not for every single post? That’s ridiculous and that’s not a good enough reason to suppress speech.
I’d also like to know why only criticism of the ■■■■ seems to be the issue. No one is making an issue of any other group of people being criticized (and I have not found a single group here that hasn’t been criticized). Why aren’t you getting this upset about Muslims being criticized or challenged?

What you are talking about is an incredibly slippery slope for a site dedicated to free speech. With regard to the post in question I do think it is reasonable to claim that there are a high number of ■■■■■■ people in the news media, so the post really isn’t bullshit. It’s just not verified to be 100% accurate, but then again neither is anything else that is posted here. It’s just an internet message board.
I am bringing Muslims into this precisely because people are going bonkers over ■■■■■ A few of you are pulling out all the stops to ensure that not a negative word is ever spoken about one particular group of people. I find it to be rather strange considering that there are many other groups of people that get criticized here…and no one is complaining about it.

How on Earth did you arrive at that conclusion? I am not defending any bad behavior or any bad people. When I see someone behaving badly, I don’t care what their heritage or religion or race is, bad behavior is bad behavior. Period! But I certainly don’t condemn everybody of that heritage/race or religion for the bad deeds of the few. That is what has been going on here. If that were the criteria to determine blame or guilt, everyone is bad.
