Last time I checked it was still a free country and I was free to visit any Russian site I choose.

He wasn’t arrested for thinking about it. He was arrested for planning it.

Do you feel just as strongly about this man, arrested for planning to murder ■■■■ in a synagogue in the name of ISIS?

Depends what steps you took to plan it, it is not as far as I know illegal to write yourself a note to remind yourself to carry out an attack, there needs to be actual(overt) concrete steps taken in furtherance of an illegal act.

So you suppose these law enforcement officers just don’t know the law well enough, and arrested this man on a whim?

What an odd reaction to a man being arrested for plotting a terrorist attack.

He took overt acts in furtherance of his plot, he didn’t just write himself a draft email. Among other acts he

from Office of Public Affairs | Ohio Man Arrested on Terrorism Charge After Planning Attack on ■■■■■■ Synagogue | United States Department of Justice

The next day, Joseph met with an undercover FBI agent and discussed conducting a mass shooting at a synagogue. Joseph identified two synagogues he viewed as targets in the greater Toledo area, and discussed the types of weapons he believed would be able to inflict mass casualties.

To my knowledge he was not arrested or charged with plotting a terrorist attack. So maybe they do know the law.

If he has committed actual crime…nail him.

But we don’t arrest people for thought crimes…or would of could of cases.

If all they have is what they have revealed so far, they won’t be getting a conviction on plotting a terrorist attack. They may well have more but buying guns and writing draft emails about an attack won’t cut it.

The coast guard guy made a list of targets, described his intentions in writing and amassed an arsenal.

So, do you think he should not be arrested?

The prosecution has 14 days to make their case, otherwise, you will get your wish, and he will go free.

Your beef isn’t with me, it’s with the law and our courts. It’s not illegal to write yourself an email detailing a planned attack, it requires an overt act before it becomes illegal.

…except for the muslim guy who hadn’t acted. He we arrest.

And rightfully so.

Which muslim guy are you talking about?

I mean, I read this article

And the only actual crimes I see mentioned are possession of tramadol and HGH and unspecified federal illegal possession of a firearm, the rest of it isn’t illegal as far as I know. List of democrats on a spreadsheet, nope, draft emails, nope, internet searches, nope, "studying’ the writings of mass killers, nope, “arsenal” of 15 firearms and more then a thousand rounds, nope. It just doesn’t remotely support a charge of domestic terrorist.

Maybe they have more but I can’t see why they wouldn’t have charged him with more if they already had it.

It isn’t about Trump either.

Give it a rest dude. You’re not as fucking clever as you think.

Trump just held a press conference and he was asked for a comment. He avoided providing a comment and said that he was receiving a briefing in the next 2 hours or so. My hope is that this situation gets a degree of reality applied to it, especially because a reporter implied that Trump was to blame because of his language. This whole thing fits the leftist narrative a bit too perfectly. Strozk must have had some zealous underlings left over at the FBI Washington Field Office.

Yeah, you’re probably right. This guy was a secret agent for Trump working with the Russians and hell bent on killing Democrats.

Do you understand exactly how STUPID it is to take a name that the President uttered and to try to suggest that this psycho was getting his ideas to kill Democrats from the President?

By the way, Pocahontas isn’t the right word anymore… it’s Lieawatha.

Your thread is about as stupid as the suggestion that Bernie Sanders made that idiot shoot up a Republican baseball practice. Yes, Bernie has stupid ideas, NO, nothing he has said would justify homicide from one of his minions. You CANNOT blame the language of one person for the attempted hostility of another.

Just a few more notes:
#1. Don’t want to be called out for fake news? Then stop reporting LIES and stop skewing the coverage. No one’s “vilifying the media”, they’re calling out bullshit for bullshit. Just like the Jussie Snotlet crap. They ran with it hook line and sinker… and anyone could see that the story was bullshit from the start. Really? MAGA country in Chicago? Really? A noose and bleach? You had to be an IDIOT or complicit in reporting that crap as real news. No objectivity, a DIRECT LINK to Trump and they repeated it from the mountain top for everyone to see how much of a racist Trump was. Come to find out, it was bullshit as predicted.
#2. Don’t want people getting pissed off at illegal impeachment? Stop pushing impeachment without a single damn offense.
#3. You don’t shut idiots like this down by trying to blame his actions on an elected leader. It’s just as stupid to blame Trump as it is to blame Sanders.

Seriously dude, this is a weak ass thread. You should be ashamed.

Does the left and the mainstream media bear any responsibility for Jussie “Racist Hate Hoax” Smollett’s language towards the President of the United States?

Seriously, if I woke up to an “arsenal” like that, I’d call the police because half of my guns were stolen. Also, 1000 rounds? Hell, they would crap their pants if they saw how many rounds I have. . . I like buying in bulk and I like going to the range. I think my last order from ammoman was 5,000 X 223 & 1500 9mm. Now I need to go buy some shotgun shells, I ran out last weekend and by ran out I mean I’m under 1000 rounds.

IMO the culture of corruption and abuse goes much lower then upper echelons. It permeates throughout the agencies.

Edit to add. when I read this story red flags were popping up in my head. Usually their something more to it.

Or maybe it’s jut me being skeptical.
