I had a thought, yes even a blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes, baby boomers dont die easily. We lived through a lot of predicted disasters. Nuclear war, overpopulation, environmental, financial, climate change…etc.

I disagree strongly with the first part because so-called “progressivism” (which is really not liberal at all unless you want to consider it in the vein of early French republicanism) is being generous with other people’s resources. It isn’t being caring but being wistfully empty headed that someone should do something.
To be that sort of “liberal” in youth is to simply have poor ethics, not to be generous.
The modern progressive movement bears no resemblance to liberalism from the 60’s-70’s nor even classical liberalism. They are bunch of fascists.
The “liberalism” of the 60s and 70s was utterly opposed to classic American Liberalism, as it was merely the degenerate “progressive” strain renamed.
As for the current Left, they’ve managed to efficiently hybridize fascist and communist ideologies into what is increasingly the least manly iteration of either, a spectular convergence of butthurt, mendacity and proper ideological Stupid.
I’m thinking of the hippy culture which was pretty libertarian in their views not the “War on Poverty” liberal democrats.

Much has been written about how millennials are tender and delicate. They are. They’re sometimes (almost all the time) absurd, like when they don’t eat cereal because there is, apparently, too much clean-up involved what with the bowl and the spoon.
They draw headlines like “Do Millennials Stand a Chance in the Real World?” Not a chance in HELL!
But the spike in anxiety is a real issue, one that shouldn’t be lumped with their “omg! lol! I can’t even” social ineptitude.
Maybe if the entire world dies I can get a job, probably not.
I just wish I could be around to see the next generation say the same thing about you.

Maybe if they had learned something of value, something that people are willing to pay well for, when they were in College rather than get some feel good humanities degree that doesn’t mater one iota to the economy, people like YangGang wouldn’t be whining so pathetically about how unfair life is. Maybe he should have learned how to be a plumber or electrician.
