Mass murder is considered the killing of four or more by one individual:
Not sure this will qualify since there are 8 different crime scenes involved.
Definitely meets the criteria of a spree killing for sure though.
The point being, mentally ill people who are intent on killing people are going to find a way. This guy used a machete.
No argument from me, just pointing out the technical difference.
Guns don’t jump up and kill people.
People with guns kill people by using guns.
Knives don’t jump up and kill people.
People with knives kill people by using knives.
Hammers don’t jump up and kill people.
People with hammers kill people by using hammers.
Bombs don’t create themselves and kill people.
People make bombs and use them to kill people.
Cars and trucks don’t kill people.
People use cars and trucks to kill people.
People kill people.
In societies where the government is armed and the people are not, the government can (and does) kill MILLIONS OF PEOPLE WHO CANNOT SHOOT BACK!
Quite frankly, I would rather have people around me that have and know how and when to use guns to defend me and my family/friends from other people who have intent to harm me by any means than to have all the people disarmed.
Most of the people that are adamant about disarming the public have their own personal hired body guards…who carry guns.
It is these hypocrites that want to disarm the public.
It is the naive, uneducated, ignorant (of history), bleeding heart IDIOTS that see no harm in our being disarmed.
Eh, barely a good start on a beginner collection.
Which is the exact problem with weapons found upon battlefields around the world, in the hands of civilians here, as was this case with the shooter using an AK47.
There is no army on earth issuing semi auto rifles rifles. They are all select fire, or fully automatic.
Bolt action rifles however dominated the world’s battlefields until the end of WWII.
In America how much does this selection of guns cost?? How much does each gun individually cost??
How expensive is animation for these guns??
Fully automatic wastes a lot of ammo. I really like the sniper shots from a thousand or more yards away…one shot=one dead enemy.
All of my semi autos except one custom AR in .260 Rem and one M1A SOCOM model are purely for close to medium range self defense.
All of my serious big game, dangerous game, and Long Range rifles are bolt guns.
I have multiples from .204 Ruger up through 300 Rum plus a couple of .375 Rugers all built on Model 70 customs or 700 clones and my .375 Cheytac is a Cheytac.
Any amount you want to spend practically.
My custom rifles without glass average around 3500.00 each. My scopes around 1800.00-2,500.00.
Ammo can run from a few cents to over 5.00 pr/rd.
I custom load for all of my custom rifles but some of the more exotics can still be expensive to load for due to brass, bullets, and powder volume. Even rollign my own the Cheytac costs around 4.00 a shot and brass will only last a maximum of 10 loads usually closer to five with a good safety margin. Last batch of bras I bought for it cost I think 4.00 ea and that’ s just an empty case.
7mm STW, 300wm, 300Rum, .375 Ruger all run me about 2.50-2.75 per shot on average if I do a good job of taking care of the brass and not loading too hot.
I am from the UK and do not own any guns to have a gun over here you need a licence am just trying to understand the pricing structure of guns in America after my Google searches I was surprised the prices I was seeing a Romanian made AK-47 for $350 seems incredibly cheap so then I was wondering how much do bullets cost??? And why is it you can only purchase semi-automatic models
Would it be legal to go to yellow park with a AK-47 and shoot a buffalo???
Why would you want to have specialise guns???
If a illegal immigrant gets caught with a gun have they broken any laws of other than being in the country illegally???
Like I said, the pricing is all over the place depending on the quality you want.
Yes you can buy cheap AK’s and SKS’s for next to nothing but I have one custom LR AR platform rifle that had I not done it myself would run around 3,000. My factory AR’s are S&W MP15’s and Sig 516’s and ran around 2.000 each without optics. The optics on them run from around 700.00-1300.00.
Ammo is the same. You can buy dirt cheap imported 7.62x39 for plinking or self defense. .22lR is always dirt cheap. I can pick up as much as 500 rounds sometimes for 10.00-20.00
The average off the shelf bolt action rifle for hutning will run probably 700.00, good customs can run up to 10,000.
Common center fire rifle ammo for hunting off the shelf can be as little as 10.00/20rds or as high as 120.00 for really high end or rare calibers.
Kind of like cars, you can buy a mini I think still for around 5-6k, or a Ferrari for over 250 grand.
Yes you could concievably shoot a buffalo with the AK but you wouldn’t likely like the results. You’d end up pouring probably a whole mag into him, and if he didn’t kill you, you’d probably have a long tracking job ahead.
It’s an adequate deer round but not worth much for much else.
No, an illegal alien cannot lawfully possess or purchase a firearm but legal immigrants and even visitors with a visa can.
A Ferrari is a status symbol that’s why people buy expensive cars but why buy a expensive gun if you just need for self-defence
For self defense the key is quality and reliability, that doesn’t come cheap in most cases.
My XD’s and XDM’s run around 500.00-700.00 each which isn’t cheap by any means but in the mid range for quality handguns.
When it comes to rifles for self defense that bar starts around 1500-2000.00, same with quality AK platform rifles.
No matter how pretty it is it has got to go bang every time and put the bullets where they need to be without fail.
A poor shot in self defense can get you killed or potentially kill an innocent bystander. A gun that fails to operate will get you killed virtually every time and the bag guy will then own your firearm as well as the one they bring to the fight.
I love side locks and have several myself.
