Why is everyone misquoting Pelosi?

Just playing off of your ball Max and accentuating your point.

alrighty then…

…and it’s okay to maintain a wall around Nancy Pelosi’s mansion. That one is not immoral.

Not most of them, but the vatican has swiss guards, and is a very small space.
My only personal experience of why your arguments hold no water
False equivalence

It’s a matter of scale here. How can you compare an 18 acre piece of property to 1.9 billion acres?

explain why its a false equivalence?

I think you missed the point Dave

The area on neither side of a wall alters its function as a deterrent to getting there.

Where is this 1.9Bn Acres that anyone is proposing we build a wall around?

It does as the scale gets larger. It still works to some degree, but the weaknesses are increased with the scale.
The white house is a much
more concentrated area, relative to the length of its fence, not to mention the overwhelming number of specialized security officers per linear foot of border within the white house grounds, relative to what is along rhe us/mexico border.
Perhaps these inherent weaknesses can be offset with electronic dectection devices and more border patrol agents along the Mexican border.

But it does affect the logistics of defending it

Fine. See my other posts. It actually does work on a small, heavily guarded space

Nothing you’ve stated makes sense even remotely.

Explain how it’s easier to guard and secure a border without effective barriers than one with them.

I’m still waiting for an answer to this. Where is this imaginary 1.9Bn Acres anyone is talking about putting a fence or other barriers around?

Where is this 1.9Bn Acres that anyone is proposing we build a wall around?

Again, attacking my intelligence, or perhaps my motives. I’m getting used to it, so it’s fine.
If i ever said we shouldn’t have walls or fencing, quote it…
Read my other posts for my response.

I’ve read all your posts on the subject and not once have you even acknowledged that these barriers can be effective.

That may be fair, but why would I? I thought that was obvious.
The question was if it is the best way to spend 8 billion on the southern border.

Do you even read your own posts? Seriously?

Once again.

Where is this imaginary 1.9Bn that anyone is suggesting we need to put a wall around?

Just keep reposting.
That is the aproximate area of the lower 48. I already conceded that that was not a good relevance. Please read my previous posts

No one has proposed putting a wall or fence around the entire US so this must be yet another of your diversions.

If we are ever going to secure the southern border that begins with putting effective barriers everywhere they can be of use.

Thats why i called out my own fallacy
