Right, a safety net, not a hammock.
Well thatâs odd, Iâve never looked upon the welfare system or those addicted to it as anything to envyâŚ
Hey! We agree on something. There is hope for you yet.
Well thatâs certainly interestingâŚ
Not really envy; but wanting life to be fair; but then, I always knew life wasnât fair. Gotta take the rough with the smooth.
Ok, well jealousy was your word. Iâve never been jealous of anyone who has had to survive on welfare, itâs bare bones. Iâll take the life Iâve lived/am living, much preferred.
I have seen the bare bones welfare lifestyle; but âtoo oftenâ it amounts to gold grills & gold chains, $300. sneakers, a car, time to party, and money to buy booze, drugs, & cigarettes, 1,000s of dollars of food the taxpayer foots the bill for, depending on how may children a father leaves in his wake; while he just moves on to the next female.
Im sorry though Jim, youâll never convince me that I should be jealous of the welfare lifeâŚ
Nor am I; but the abusers just make it more difficult for the needy.
Well sure. Waste fraud and abuse. Itâs in congress, itâs in the White House, itâs in the pentagon, itâs in law enforcement, etc., etcâŚ
Micheal, how do you want to spend your elder years, in an abusive, dirty place, dirty diaper, with dog food for a meal. If thatâs your pleasure have at it. What I worked for is mine and my familyâs to care for me an mine. Iâve been working since I was 14 and plan to have a descent end of life. Oh by the way Iâm not rich. Stop the hogwash. I am sick of funding laziness, illegals, and degenerates. Get a job and work. Regardless of you level strive for the next. I donât owe you anything.
Perfect explanation!!!
How about we combine the best elelements of socialism and capital system? The best of capitalism would be fluid employment and markets, a tax system that is fair, nearly paperless and raises revenue, and healthy regulation of business.
The best of socialism would be a USG owned and operated Bank of the United States (BOTUS), a trillion dollar a year program to rebuild our infrastructure, universal health care (in the form of vouchers or single-payer), a Financial Action Tax on Wall Street transactions, single payer education and revival of the WPA and creation of a US Green Brigade for public works and conservation projects
Exactly. Which we largely have been doing. Of course thereâs room for improvement.
His faithlessness alone qualifies him as the worst ever. He didnât take an oath of office to start the government that takes care of folks but to uphold the Constitution.
Americans donât agree with that.
It is a step in the wrong direction. We canât even deploy a welfare system that isnât completely taken advantage of by the do-nothings which impedes its effectiveness in reaching the people who truly need it. Now that The Potus has most of ALL Americans working again, it may be a moot point. We can and should revamp every entitlement program to include and actually provide elevation in society and not simply a plate of bread. Sanders likes bread lines because he thinks it signifies that everyone is at least getting something to eat. What a sham by a sham millionaire. The democrats want to literally parade âfree stuffâ in front of these families in hopes of regaining the whitehouse. If that is achieved you will get nothing but the return of bloated bureaucracy, failing economy and the most confusion and graft than anyone has ever witnessed in this country. ANY type of socialism always have a ruling class. The cities socialists are so fond of citing as working democratic socialist countries are having to change their tune right now. They are suffering under the open borders and welfare state and they have had about enough of it. Socialists also fail to acknowledge that the countries where Socialism has been âsuccessfulâ were. at the time, over 85% Caucasian. I would think youâd find at least that tidbit interesting.
Excuse me? What countries?
The Soviet Union?
East Germany?
Rumania?
Trump made a huge stink about the 19+ trillion national debt during his campaign. As with all his criticisms of Obama he was brutal about it. Declared how it was unsustainable and pledged to pay it off. He also bragged that he would run balanced budgets because it was so easy.
The reality is that three trillion has been added to the ND and he has signed RECORD deficits. Easy to have good economy on borrowed money.
