No, our founders saw everything that was wrong with the English Colonial System and defeated what was the greatest military force on the planet to run their sorry asses out of our country.
They won, and created a nation unique in all of history.
Your English ancestors were tyrants who enslaved much of the world while using their slave labor to rape “the colonies” of their natural resource related wealth.
Fortunately one at a time the colonies smartened up and ran their asses off.
Apologies in advance for skipping this issue that you pointed out in regards to Jordan Peterson, it wasn’t intentional.
I would say you would have to provide a reference in order for me to understand the entire context that you are referring to, then we can discuss that further if that is the case. Also, you can pose this question directly to him and I am sure he will answer you. Just make sure before doing so that you have the specific reference to cite!
“I can save the British Empire from anything other than the British themselves.” Churchill.
It was the same breed of libtards in those days that destroyed the Empire as we have today who want to give our sovereignty to the EU. More Brit hating on here, I see. You lot should look in the mirror.
Well, I certainly don’t hate the Brits…except for the ones that have disdain for the Allied forces that saved them from the Nazis…and the ones that think the royal family’s feces doesn’t stink…and the ones that want to stay in the EU.
…and I suppose that for every Brit I can’t stand, there are two Yanks I hate more.
The American Revolution is a pretty awesome story, especially for American kids to grow up listening to. Funny thing is, we make fun of Canada for still being cocky about burning our white house 200 years ago. lol
It’s simply a fact. GB had at that time the most largest and most powerful Navy on the planet at the time along with the strongest army.
Our rag tag bunch of patriots defeated both and sent them home in disgrace.
We did the same forty years later when again the King launched an attack resulting in the war of 1812 once and for all settling the question of US independence.
In the next century we had to save their asses twice in two world wars. If not for us by no later than 1944 the official language of GB/UK would have been German. If not for the US by 1960 the UK would have ceased to exist as an independent Nation State and would have been absorbed by the Soviet Union.
Those are simply facts, if you can’t handle them don’t engage me.
And just as easily it could reflect women of color not being attracted to white men. Women almost always determine whether two people will couple, not the man.
Well don’t leave out the fact that it couldn’t have been possible without the help from the French.
Also don’t leave out the fact that the two most humiliating defeats In England’s history was when Singapore and Hong Kong fell to the Japanese. It basically spelled the end of their Colonialist Great Empire.
Winning The Revolution was still quite possible without the French but it would have been far more difficult since we had no real navy.
We had however more than ample resources to build the necessary ships, cannon, and man them as well as the ability to seize English ships but hadn’t thought far enough ahead to do so before the first shots were fired.
The British were able to move their troops fast by sea and on the big rivers and our mobility was limited to small boats and primarily foot/horse so that made it a real challenge.
The French coming in when they did probably saved us 2-3 years and thousands of lives but we had everythign necessary to have eventually gotten the job done ourselves. The British were far too extended around the world with their other Colonies and really couldn’t effectively marshal much more of a force than they had in N. America already in during the critical years between 1780 and 83.
Both Churchill and the aristocracy realized that what made the losses of Singapore and Hongkong so devastating was that they would never be strong enough again to retake them.
Between the Japanese rout in the East and the Nazis driving them back on every front in the west they all realized it was the end of “Great” Britain.
Without the US lifeline that kept the British Aisles, our then entry into the War in The Atlantic, American Volunteer pilots helping in the Battle of Britain, and US providing the majority of their war supplies from 41 on it would have all been over pretty quickly.
You seem to be persisting in the idea that the USA is somehow the good guy in all this.
I’d rather be speaking German than be living in a Kosher-certified open-air rape camp being talked down to by historical illiterates who allow children to be paraded for the sexual gratification of sodomites.
