Racism is never warranted. Taking pride in one’s race does not conflate to racism. Being proud does not require attachment of a posture of superiority.
I do agree that bigotry is often a good thing. Had the Allies not been bigoted against Hitler’s racism, we’d have lost the war to him and we’d all be speaking German today.

One problem with your comment is that those Democrats of 155 years ago who started all the shit with blacks, are Republicans today or doesn’t your knowledge of American history include the year 1964 and the Goldwater campaign when they all left the Democrats to vote for Barry?
However, you are right about the Democrats since that year. All they’ve done is compound the black problem of poverty and crime by failing to point out that the black community has to bear some of the responsibility for their problems. But then, I wonder how the pale-skinned asshats who think this country actually treats all of its citizens equally would behave today if institutionalized black privilege was the order of the day instead of vice versa.
