Two articles of impeachment

All of the “absolute facts” as evidence are in fact presumptions- reasonable perhaps, but hearsay nonetheless.

The Dems who have nothing to lose (hardcore parasite dominated districts) chose this hill to die on - and the few who will lose their seats are just collateral damage in assuaging the hard left wing of what’s left of the party.

The Republicans have all the ammo they need to shoot this down; and they will. Public perception is everything to those who live or die by elections; the Dems. are losing that fight, and they know it.

Trump explicitly asked the Ukrainian President to work with the AG to investigate corruption. Actually reading the phone call transcript shows this clearly.

Of course the idiotic abuse of power impeachment count makes no allowance for Trump’s request to have the AG work cooperatively with the Ukrainians, that conflicts with the imputed motive assigned to Trump by Resistance zealots.

Yeah, republicans say the money was held up because Trump was concerned about corruption in Ukraine. So he asks corrupt Ukraine to conduct an investigation. Why not in 2017 or 2018? This didn’t happen until Joe Biden jumped in the race.

Trump was speaking to the newly elected President of Ukraine fresh off his resounding victory in parliamentary elections. The former comic had run on a platform of rooting out corruption. The change in government offered a potential opportunity for investigating corruption in the Ukraine including the Biden’s cozy payoffs from Burisma.

President Trump was concerned that the new Ukrainian President’s might be the product of the Democrat like policy of saying what you need to get elected as Bill Clinton stated trying to excuse Robert Byrd’s service as a Klan recruiter. Reading from the transcript of the phone call we see President Trump warning that the new President was surrounded by many of the same people installed by his corrupt predecessor.

President Trump’s request for investigation by the new regime in cooperation with US authorities took place against the backdrop of a joint treaty authorizing the exchange of information relevant to criminal investigations by the two nations. After Joe Biden demonstrated his raw political power to coerce the Ukrainian government into firing a prosecutor he found “troublesome” President Trump unambiguously communicated to the Ukrainian government that Joe Biden and son were not above the law. :slightly_smiling_face:

All manner of investigations have been directed at President Trump since he announced his candidacy with Resistance Democrats claiming their patriotic motives excused their rampant abuse of the Federal law enforcement and intelligence agencies into partisan political weapons. But of course Trump’s legitimate concerns about Ukrainian corruption are ignored in favor of vapid partisan talking points ascribing the basest of motives to our President.

The money held up, was only a promise of future payments. It wasn’t like your welfare check that arrives the 2nd Tuesday of the month.

Well that embodies Trump who sent a letter to president Obama in 2012 encouraging him to take immediate steps to combat climate change. In fact, given his prior positions on a host of issues makes clear what a charlatan he is.

WoW! A lib calling someone a hypocrite. Anyone else see the irony here?

Well, when the shoe was on the other foot, Lindsey Graham declaimed that the day Nixon defied subpoenas, was the day he became impeachable. Trump has defied ten I believe.

False, your President has referred the subpoenas to the court for review before submitting to the clown show in the House.

Yep, he sure could…

There you go again. You got caught out repeating mindless Resistance talking points so it’s deflect, deflect, deflect. Not a word in defense of your claim Trump only wanted Biden investigated for his personal political benefit.

A handful of Trump appointees all testified under oath against him. Of course republicans are going to protect Trump, they have the numbers in the senate to prevent conviction, but Trump will still have the asterisk next to his name distinguishing him along with two other presidents in US history.

A mixture of current and former Federal bureaucrats testified about how offended they were at President Trump exercising his authority to conduct foreign policy. None could provide direct evidence supporting treason, bribery or high crimes and misdemeanors. In fact when President Trump spoke directly about what he wanted from the Ukrainian government he stated “no QPQ”. In Resistance Democrat newspeak this means he was demanding the opposite of the plain meaning of the words.

A driver’s license photo?

Foreign policy conduct outside of normal protocol, reminiscent to a drug deal according to one Trump official, crazy according to another, beneficial to the Russians according to another, and for his own personal gain according to another. And that just scratches the surface.

According to Lindsey Graham, there doesn’t even have to be a high crime or misdemeanor, at least when the shoe was on the other foot. And Trump, unlike Clinton/Nixon, has refused to answer his subpoenas or allow the most important witnesses to testify. Abuse of power and obstructing a coequal branch of government from being able to fully exercise their constitutional duties. :man_shrugging:

Well you weren’t listening to the same testimony that I did. Btw, the majority of them were trumpers, hand picked by him and his administration. It’s just that they took an oath tI defend The constitution not the president.

Foreign policy outside the so-called normal channels. You did realize the whining bureaucrats hand picked by Democrats are inferior to the chief executive, the POTUS. The POTUS also has the authority to conduct foreign affairs or to designate others to assist him. Once again ignorance leads to gross misstatements.

The President has the Constitutional right to contest subpoenas and witness summons from Congress. Typically these disputes are handled by negotiations or failing that by the courts
Democrats withdrew their summons for John Bolton after he petitioned the court to resolve the conflict. Democrats prefer to charge President Trump with an impeachable offense to solving the problem

Liberals just process much differently than conservatives do. We tend to listen for facts, sit back, process it and come to a conclusion.

However when you see it through the lense you do you lose all objectivity

The presidents authority to conduct foreign policy does not allow for him to use that authority to his personal betterment. That is constitutional. He’s being impeached because he abused the authority.

Disproven except for those who suffer from TDS.
