A libertarian who worries about whether or not IRS employees are being paid? I’d love to hear the explanation for that one. Most libertarians I know want the IRS abolished and could not care less about IRS employees not getting taxpayer money right now. Strange. Now big government liberals on the other hand…

There’s plenty of other jobs out there. The economy is booming and we’re near full employment in case you haven’t heard. I know things can be distracting when you’re working to keep up a fake persona and all.

Not sure why this matters? These employees had nothing to do with the shutdown and if they decide they need another job then it will take time to find one.

I would say the same about coal workers… in some cases they were laid off, through no fault of their own… should I shit on them for not finding other employment? I don’t.

And if I were in their situation I would be expected to deal with it. What makes them special other than being government employees? A career choice THEY made that I had nothing to do with, yet I’m supposed to feel sorry for them?

I have rarely seen a conservative post here. Any post that supports Donald Trump is a non starter for conservative views and that is what I see posted here a lot. Nothing inherently wrong with that, but Trump isn’t a conservative.

I am not a conservative by that definition. I’m not necessarily a conservative by the traditional definition. I am a libertarian.

I wouldn’t treat a plant worker like that and I won’t treat a government worker like that.
