This Is What Pisses Me Off About Trump

I agree, but pretending he does not have these faults does us all a greater disservice than to point them out. As I have said before, we must separate the man from the deeds.

You won’t backup your assertions and have the gall to call sneaky lazy?

You make the claim, it’s up to you to support it.

Trump caved on the wall funding today, his biggest issue.

Nobody else would be in the same position because they would not be handing the media the clubs to beat him with every day with his stupid tweets, lies, and nonsensical statements of fact.

No other republican would be free or criticism for sure but at least they would not be the means of their own destruction the way Trump has been and continues to be.

It’s not over until it’s over.

He has 2 years to get moving after trusting the idiots in congress to support him. Should be interesting to see if he can get anything done in the next 2 years. Congress paid the price for their stupidity.

Of course it’s over. Nancy and Chuckie have won and we all know it.

The only way a wall gets built now is if he takes it out of the military budget and uses the troops to build it.

Of course, the second he starts down this path the left will go judge shopping and succeed in getting an immediate injunction and once again we’ll have yet another “constitutional crisis” as Trump goes head to head with the Judiciary and Congress.

Of course, doing so would probably result in his impeachment as well.

And in that case he wins as the wall will be built.

His failing is he didn’t do it 2 years ago.

As long as the military manages it they can contract it out as they do many things.

Duplicate … .

Do me a favor and don’t snip my posts in a dishonest manner in the future.

The critical part you snipped away:

There’s no “winning” this fight. All that would be accomplished even if he succeeded in getting it done is to divide the country even further and pretty well guarantee the election of a democrat in 2020.

Most likely he’d be impeached for the attempt.

This will fire up his base no doubt but would pretty well guarantee a Dem replaces him in 2021.

Now the Democrats will probably want to impeach him for not taking border security seriously.

It’s one of my highest hopes, and I don’t think that he fought his own party enough on it this year

Not to mention the destruction of the GOP and possibly conservatism itself, at least for the time being.

The tragic part is, Trump fooled people into thinking they were saving America by voting for him. In reality they’ve given the Democrats the means to hasten its decline. All we can hope for now is that the Dems hold true to form and are too stupid to take full advantage of this godawful trainwreck.

Do me a favor and don’t post garbage in the future, the left always judge shops and most of their favorite judges reside in the 9th circuit. But you don’t know that do you.

The left have completely broken this country, the beginning the progressives/Obama years and they have doubled down on it with the loss of the wicked witch of the east.

There is no winning anything in this country until we have term limits in congress and get rid of the Schumers, Pelosi’s, Mc Connells, etc.

The dems idea of border security is a fence, split rail. Limits the number of illegals crossing the fence and fewer lawsuits.

Three points:

  • Point 1:

Libs: “He conned you Trumpers” “He never intended to build the wall” “Haa… you got fooled by the liar in chief” etc…

Given the way libs are goading us about Trump not shutting down the government, I have to assume that it was their hope that he would have. Then they could have cried in the media about federal workers who cannot feed their children at Christmas… or something.

  • Point 2:

This is not an easy problem to solve. Using the military for labor ? You are right @TWR about the libs finding judges that will slow him down. But given the proven legitimacy of the Army Corp of Engineers and its budget of N billion dollars already, I just don’t think the libs will be successful. Trump does not need to take money and resources from the Corp of Engineers . It is more a matter of redirecting and repriortizing the many projects they are engaged in.

  • Point 3:

Ever since Trump stepped into the political ring but especially after the Access Hollywood recording, I have seen what looks like a fear among some on the right. It is a fear of being embarrassed for supporting a failure… and fear of being conned. Listen… suck it up. Take the chance of being embarrased and ridiculed by the left. Trump is the pointy edge of our spear… whether we like it or not. My admonition to my right leaning friends is this: The libs are not going to treat you any better or any worse regardless of Trump’s mistakes. Get the hell off the fence with half hearted support. Vote for someone else in 2020 if you want to. But THIS MAN in the white house needs our support.

Unfortunately, this is no time for civility.
Civility assumes that both sides are composed of ladies and gentlemen who are willing to compromise. At this point the Left consists of sixties-style fanatics who will stop at nothing, as in the fight over the Kavanaugh appointment or the present calls for impeachment.
Many conservatives wish to return to the days of civility but increasingly find themselves thrown into the ring with those who lack all sense of shame. When that’s the case, one must play hardball.

Just veto the spending bill send everyone home and close early for Christmas. The left will claim, what heartless people the right are after they have claimed victory for no funding for border security.

As though the GOP was worth saving. LOL…

It had completely failed prior to Trump. The left just beat them at every turn and our country has started to look like the infamous shithole countries. Look at San Francisco. How the hell did a city in the United States of America end up like that? Or all the other down-is-up men-are-women nonsense that left has brought upon us? The GOP was afraid of being labeled haters, cruel, Neanderthals, stupid, etc. Oh but look… they are labeled that anyhow.

So THAT party is useless in the fight against progressive liberalism.

Did you vote for GOP candidates in either 2016 or this year’s midterms?

Given the practical choices… yes. I voted third party in 1992. That is how Bill Clinton got elected. I won’t be fooled again.

Then by your own logic you empowered a useless party.
