This great President puts Pelosi in her place

doesn’t address the question.

Unfortunately the state is almost beyond repair.

She seems to be on a power trip.

Can’t leave the state without the proper paperwork. Who gave hr that power?

It became broken well before Rick Snyder - and before the Flint Water Crisis. It was under Granholm.

Granholm was a peach.

People get what they deserve when they vote.

Silly little Marxist Progs and their parlor games, that they have to equate total spending as state consumption in order to feel good about themselves. The trouble for Liberals is the GAO tracks entitlement spending.

Thirteen of the top 15 leech states are blue states with California being number one. In fact California consumes 40.05% of all entitlement spending while being just over one tenth of the population. They consume almost three times as much as they pay in. Texas in comparison, consumes just 2.75% while being over 8% of the population.

This is the part you can’t simply can’t make up. The same Sheriff who released 4 thousand inmates is the same sheriff that fears there will be a crime wave. Seriously?

You are implying that this is a good thing?!? WTF. Real estate prices are rising because California is controlled by ultracapitalists who are exploiting their workers. These CEOs are fascist and racist.

It’s called a “market signal”

It’s actually called: systematic oppression of the working class and people of color.

Nah…there are a LOT of things wrong before you get to that…

It’s also a global market, and that’s really only true for Manhattan and few other places in the US…

All the money in the Pacific Rim wants to live there…

And it’s the market that will oblige an adjustment…

Uh. No. Maybe you don’t understand the severity of income inequality in California. These ultracapitalists are the ones driving up real estate prices by disproportionately paying high salaries to the upper echelons of their corporate power structures…while throwing scraps to the people who actually make their companies run. Many of these folk are LGBTQ+ and POCs who are employed but struggling with homeless, addictions (to escape the oppression), and systemic racism and classism.

Life Ain’t Fair. Short, brutal, and often unrewarding. Ya do your best to climb out of the hole and get on with life.

Not so. It is a matter of supply and demand.

Demand is high and supply is low.

Why is supply low? Overly extensive regulations. Who endorses that but politicians that the people of California have voted for?

Accountability starts with the voters.

One ultra capitalist’s vote counts the same as anyone else’s vote.

A vote is a great equalizer.

People just need to get off of their complacent asses.

For example, environmental laws alone have driven up prices by nearly 10 percent, and prevailing-wage laws are estimated to raise median housing costs by $42,900 to $79,000.

People are going to do what they do to earn a living or if they can, beyond.

It is just human nature.

How many of the elected of California have put their money where their mouth is?

How many rooms do they have to share that they’ve offered? What discretionary funds could they contribute?

While they sit in their big, gate protected, security with gun protected mansions all they seem to do is throw criticism at the common folk.

Wake up. These elites are not your friend not matter what their political affiliation.

Yup. That takes decades to build.

“But I’m entitled to it RIGHT NOW”.

Erp. Someone sold you a fairy tale.

Well as a matter of fact, California DEFINITELY characterizes the whole class envy concept that Marxists have been pushing for two centuries. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. There is no middle class in California.

I can sympathise with some of the points you make, but your focus on what the cause is, has been misdirected. Perhaps the sources that has you believing in a certain narrative are not entirely accurate nor telling or painting the entire picture.

Are you willing to call out Chinese nationals buying up real estate and driving up costs? Are you willing to call out China for their unfettered imports of Fetany in the US? Are you willing to call out representatives like Feinstein, Pelosi, Schiff, Liu for aiding and abetting China’s graft? How about calling Out Newsom for putting Retirement pension funds in Chinese markets that are directly funding the PLA?

Corporations paying excessively high salaries at the top tier while shrinking wages for the bottom 80 percent of their companies is a massive problem. So is the landlord problem in California. It has been for decades. Both sides have contributed to the problem because there hasn’t been a true progressive in office yet. I was hoping for that with Bernie…but someone who consistently voted the same way for decades once again backed the establishment. It’s sickening.

I’m willing to call out anyone who marginalizes the worker. China has committed atrocious human rights abuses and marginalizes their working population in a variety of ways, they also hand out personal protective equipment and they ensure that their population has the basic necessities to survive. I have a lot of issues with China but for different reasons than you might think.
