The Truth About The 2nd Amendment

I believe I provided where you can find a detailed listing of the terorr attacks going back several years.

You can start there and work on the rest yourself.

The fact remains, your statement was a lie, people like myself are not the problem, we are the answer to the problem since in virtually every case it is people with guns that stop mass killers before, during, or after their attacks.

Okay, I think we’ve had enough mileage out of this topic.

I don’t believe I was at all unclear.

You posted your judgement before ever asking a question.

But this is the topic of the thread! You have to excuse them; guns are big business like food and pharma. They need that culture to feed the corporate machinery.

Again with the baseless assertion of facts and judgement.

Again, why don’t you try to actually learn something about the subject?

Knowledge is power and education is never a waste.

Permanent war, not winning, has been the goal since WW2…

America, at some point, will go the route of the UK, Australia and others. It is inevitable that our society will not tolerate the numbers of reoccurring mass murders in deference to a diminishing number of citizens insisting on gun ownership.

I think it’s funny how Trump keeps jabbing republicans with “you’re scared of the NRA”

At some point, the insanity will end…

As soon as you think you have the numbers, by all means try repealing the 2nd.

Funny how Trump keeps jabbing republicans with “you’re scared of the NRA”…:rofl:

Don’t crush the fantasy…

Scary thought indeed. The people obsessed with guns are the left because they don’t understand why people own them. I own more than 20 firearms. I have two pistols that I use for conceal carry, my Sig and my XD Subcompact. My wife has a sig and a Kimber micro 9 for conceal carry. (She’s a counselor at the prison and occasionally gets death threats from insane people so it seems prudent for her to carry) I have a .357 for range fun. Same for my brand new .44 Mag. I have a 1911 .45 and a Colt Defender that haven’t been shot in years, but I really like them. I have another 9mm and a .38 special that are pretty much the same. I have two AR15’s, one is 7.62mm, the other is 5.56mm. I use them at the range as well and occasionally go to my uncle’s property and help him with hog population control. I have several shotguns that I skeet shoot with. I have a 30.06, a .22 LR and a few other rifles that I don’t use but should I want to go hunting (I’m usually too lazy), I can. There are other firearms but ultimately, what’s scary to me is people that are afraid of me because I have guns. 99.997% of the guns in the US aren’t used in a murder each year so this irrational fear of guns is mind boggling to me.

At the end of the day, all of the reasons that we own firearms are secondary reasons. The primary reason we should own firearms is to provide a final check and balance against federal tyranny.

The biggest threat to you historically has been your government. For that reason alone you should all choose to be armed.

There could hardly be a more correct comment on the topic.

But you’ll also find a great many Americans that literally believe that their “right to bear arms” is first and foremost to protect them from a tyrannical government. This would be the same group that thinks that the military would be on their side in such an event.

Try squaring that circle…:rofl::rofl::rofl:

What 7.62 AR did you pick up? I couldn’t help myself, I had to have a Sig 716 to go along with the 516.

Try some research on The Constitution and then spend a couple of tours in combat arms and get back with us on that.

My sister in law works for Radical Firearms here in Houston. She got me the brother in law deal. Paid less than $300 for a RF 7.62.

And yet, not only does the biggest hypocrite ever to occupy the White House still have them working on his properties, his administration has done precious little to address the real problem.

While President Donald Trump’s administration is cracking down on illegal immigration, with stepped up deportations and proposing a wall on the border of Mexico, it has done nothing to address what some immigration officials for decades have considered the biggest problem: lax or nonenforcement of laws that penalize employers who hire undocumented workers, the Los Angeles Times reports.

Not as long as congress remains on recess while nothing gets done about the worst gun violence in the world…

That’s exactly what the British Army thought in 1775. And, what the U.S. DoD thought of the Viet Cong in 1959.

Yes, in 1775 a civilian had basically the fire power of military regular, that is grossly outdated was the point.
