Bigger isnā€™t even an issue. I at least would prefer to have one where I can engage them at a greater range, with more rapid and accurate fire, and hope that my skill level would exceed theirs.

Fortunately most criminals arenā€™t particularly brave so most defensive gun uses never even involve a gun being fired.

Just the mere knowledge that the target is armed deters most, and when you also demonstrate that you are willing to use it most of the rest will fade away or hit their knees begging you not to shoot.

We have somewhere between 1.5-2.5 million successful defensive gun uses in the US each year in which no shots are ever fired.

Rather than blindly judging you folks should at least be willing to learn something about the topic.

Throughout history humans have always sought to have an advantage over potential attackers. It is the nature of who we are and what allowed us to dominate the planet because we can use technology to that end where no other species can.

It is in fact the opposite of Macho since firearms enable a 90lbs 13 yo girl or 90 year old woman to be successful in stopping an attacker that could easily overwhelm them physically.

Thatā€™s a lie. Mass killings were committed through out history and continue happening without the use of firearms.

Itā€™s far easier to commit a mass killing with vehicles, explosive, incendiaries than it is firearms but only with a firearm are you likely to be able to stop them once they start.

Mass killings occur every day around the world without firearms being used.

As for honest, Iā€™m always honest and always have the facts to support any claim of fact I assert.
