We currently have US forces in Syria, Iraq, Jordan, and Yemen, what Hillary and McCain did is completely a different issue based on differnt objectives such as regime change and using the CIA to aide in illegally selling Arms for other motives. The current war being waged is rooting out Isis out of Iraq and Syria, with also aiding Kurdish forces as well. I posted a brief on this many months ago.
