It has no rivers to feed it fresh water. The density of the water is so high that it is almost impossible for a person to drown in it.
ā¦ I thought the Jordan river flows into the Dead Sea
According to the Wikipedia entry that is what happens
The bones were ground up, and used for road grit during the winter.
You right, it does. I should have said āonly one riverā.
ā¦and it aināt a big one.
I think its hASS-baratits who is confused
about the meaning of controversy.
The words debate and controversy are almost interchangeable.

@DMK the BP is a public debating chamber and that necessarily involves disagreement, argument and controversy. So same q why have you joined something that is anathema to all snowflakes.
Is that a log wedged under the seat
I have seen 2 stroke and 4 stroke motorbike engines, rotary and even diesel but I havenāt come across a solid fuel powered bike before, certainly innovative
That is a very tenuous argument and could only stand if you support an apartheid system which is what Israel is.
Thank you, Captain Obvious.
I donāt owe you an explanation. Nor do I need your approval or permission for topics I choose to either contribute to or not contribute to.
wow EX it might be seriously overpriced but it is certainly out there in terms of design. From the snippet I have just read they appear to be working on a more affordable alloy framed version for larger volume sales.
The 175hp to 160kg weight sounds impressive but it is still less than a 2017 gsxr1000 that you can pick up for paltry Ā£10 k. In fact many (perhaps most) of the latest litre bikes top 200 hp and are well under 200kg.
I have never been a fan of Norton per se but I do like to see them coming up with new designs and hopefully remaining successful in their niche market place.
Triumph seems to have managed to keep growing longer than I feared they would so hopefully Norton can achieve something similar.
I see youāre good at Googling.
Controversy implies a raised level of emotions frequently associated with strong disagreementā¦a heated debate.
A debate over what the weather forecast should be for tomorrow is hardly going to be controversial.
I support voting being done only by citizens of the country being governed by the laws generated and enforced as a result of the votes.
Yes, it does. The famed Jordan River.
I thought it was a major river, until I saw it. Not more than whatās called a creek or brook in America.
You addressed the issue.
When it rains in the winter, all the rainwater from surrounding mountains runs into the Dead Sea. āWadisā are dry river banks but they become rivers when thereās enough precipitation.
Water at Ein Gedi also runs into the Dead Sea
Myths which are plenty, including soap from human fat and lampshades from human skin, are debunked.
Perhaps it is running off wood-alcohol
I went looking at just those aspects yesterday, and it depends what you mean by āwell underā. Most of them seemed to be 185kg ~ 190kg and that is probably only significant when you have to pick it up.
I also went looking at bhp figures since my daughterās landlady (who rides what is now a Z1000 Ninja with luggage) deprecated Ducati as lacking grunt, or did she say āurgeā. The usual suspects all seemed to be in the range 200bhp ~ 204bhp. Anyway I forget the V2 Ducati output, so it probably in the region of 150bhp. The Ducati V4 Panigale (sp?) pumps out 214bhp, which is more than the R1 or the Suzuki Gixer. It also costs over Ā£24kā¦ I did not look at the BMW S1000, which is not a slouch if you watch BSB.
Triumph (the name) was bought by the man who started Bloor Homes. He pumped in a lot of money and bought manufacturing expertise from Kawasaki to create the first bikes in the 90s iirc. I was told that Bloor senior still oversees the Triumph operation, his son is now running the Bloor Homes enterprise.
Norton therefore need somebody with a lot of money, a white Knight, to give them a fighting chance. It will be nice to see them succeed.
Human bones do not deteriorate in a crematorium. That is how the Russian/British/American liberators knew what they had uncovered. That is also why there were not tonnes of bone material at the camp sites, it had been removed for use as described.
We had exactly this discussion in RH a while back.
I am not continuing this further.
Iām not denying there were crematoria in German camps.
People always die in towns and villages for various reasons, while Auschwitz camps were more than a village.
Japan is full of crematoria, because in (Hindu and) Buddhist traditions, cremation is the norm. I think direct burial (meaning buying the body in a casket directly) is even forbidden here.
Also, human remains can be turned into ashes completely if you raise the temperature of the oven but itās costly in terms of fuel, which Third Reich Germany didnāt have in abundance.
