About 20% of the Palestinians are Christians. Has anybody ever bothered to ask them what they think of the Biblical promise that God supposedly made to Abraham? Have Christians who support Israel on the basis of Biblical premise, ever bothered to ask their co-religionists how they feel living as refugees in foreign lands or under perpetual humiliation at the hands of the Israelis in Occupied Palestine? The answer would be in the negative, because somehow the media has projected the Palestinian catastrophe as a Muslim issue and not as a humanitarian one as it certainly is. The media has brainwashed people to believe the conflict in Palestine is between ■■■■ and Muslims. They have subtly left out the Palestinian Christians out of the picture.
Not many Christians know, certainly not in the west where the media is censored on the issue of Palestine, that the first village that was destroyed in Palestine was a Christian village called Deir Yassin. Over 240 Palestinian Christians were lined against the walls of their humble homes and shot dead in cold blood by the ■■■■■■ terrorist organisation called the Stern Gang headed by future Prime Minister and later Nobel Laureate, Menachem Begin. Their homes and churches were destroyed and to this day they lie in ruins as mute testimony that struck on that fateful day in 1948.
I hadn’t heard them called this before but it kinda fits. I am not a fan generally but you have to commend the companies who have been brave enough to produce them. Had they never been seen along with other radical designs that manufacturers have released we might all still be driving around in model T’s 
I think that the Volkswagen engine in the bug was a great feat of engineering, a simple and stable air-cooled engine. I got to know most of the parts of that engine.
But hearing it running in a Porsche was a little surprising. That’s not what I would have chosen if I was concerned about Porsche’s reputation for hot sports cars.

Other reasons.
Millions of ■■■■ were lined up, stripped naked and marched into “showers”…others were shot as they knelt beside mass graves dug out with bulldozers, others were starved to death, others were worked to death.
History is replete with records of people killing people, some killing their own (such as the Chinese and the Russians), some killing people from other nations for reasons known only to them. Often it’s because some sick fucking dictator commanded them to do it.
There is no logical reason to kill people just because of who they are or what country they represent.
I have never looked into porsche engine designs, never having owned one so a quick check on the wiki spec shows these 914’s had flat 4 or flat six engines. I suspect the flat 4 is as you say the same as used in the beetle and the larger capacity engines used in the transporter.
I share your praise about vw’s feat of engineering as I worked on several beetles when I was a youth and my sisters campervans and certainly removed a few engines, even stripping and repairing a little 1300 beetle engine from a 1970 vehicle. Simplicity and reliability in one package although I suspect a modern day Porsche engine strip and repair might be a little more challenging.

Assuming for argument sake that God did indeed promise the land to the ■■■■■ one must carefully read the words that are enshrined in that particular verse in Genesis. It says the promise is made to Abraham and his SEED after him. The SEED includes the Arabs also because they are the children of Ishmael, Abraham’s son. But what Israel wants to do is to complete the purification of Palestine of all Goy (Gentiles: ■■■■ being the ’Chosen People’ and all) and convert the whole of Palestine into a ‘pure’ ■■■■■■ state. This is Zionist fascism no different to Hitler’s Hein Rasse (Superior Race).
Paradoxically if the famous verse in Genesis in the Bible were to be applied it would automatically disqualify the present day ruling class in Israel because they are not the SEED of Abraham. Rather they are Khazars who were converts to Judaism as explained by Arthur Koestler in his book ‘The Thirteenth Tribe’. Factually speaking they are Caucasians and are called Ashkenazi to describe their European roots. Till today Israel participates in the Euro Vision Song Contest.
