The Rabbit Hole

Wow, that is insane! No wonder he hides his profile, so no one can see what a saddo he is.

He gets all pissy when I post something of which he says “we covered that in another thread”…usually one that he started.

I’ve posted a couple of times that I think users who hide their profiles are chickenshit.

He gave me the same line a few times too: “we covered that in another thread”…and as usual, one that he started. He thinks he’s the Associated Press.
Kind of sad if you think about it. I don’t see how he can be so blind in his behaviour towards anyone in a public forum. You can’t post in anger.

Boy, it wasn’t me who started the fight.
I wonder what his blood pressure is like.

The power delivery and lightness/handling of the rs is what makes it so much fun. It really is a fantastic piece of technology produced almost 25 years ago. And of course one of the last two strokes to be produced by a big manufacturer.
I don’t expect too much from the CB just never could afford one when I was a youth :relaxed:

Have no argument against that I know the pan is a good package, a work colleague owned one and raved about it.

I just have a preference to jump on a lightweight bike occassionally just to have a break from the weight/extra effort of manouvering some of my bigger more powerful stuff. Some of the modern 600’s are very nimble and easy to live with for almost all occassions.

My favourite light weights are my old gt 250 two strokes but I certainly wouldn’t chose do more than 20 miles on them these days.

Acknowledged…

The point I was making is that the Pan is very easy to live with, easy to manoeuvre and surprisingly chuckable. The only time the weight is an issue is when it isn’t moving (or you are pushing it).

In September I bought a couple of SV1000S’s to “do up”. My younger son has already nabbed one of them with the excuse that the back tyre on his previous has zero tread. I kinda knew he wanted it, and sort of bought it with him in mind anyway after his mate rebuilt a 1200 Bandit and (I guess) started leaving him behind.

So I was out on the other one at the end of October measuring the speedo inaccuracy, at least 7% optimistic … which isn’t bad for a bike. Same as my VFR actually. However I noticed a couple of things, apart from the SV being a bit slower than the VFR. First the SV is easy to redirect when in mid-corner, the VFR would be a wrestle and I have it in the stack to check the suspension geometry setup on the VFR. Second, the SV is easier on my wrists than the VFR, and I put that down to marginally softer grips on the SV.

I rode the SV back when I bought it, around 100 miles of boring motorway but I survived it surprisingly well. It caught me out being not as tractable at low revs. However it is easier to shove around in the garage than the VFR. Also the VFR has better brakes.

I wondered about that…

I had a session with him yesterday. I believe he doesn’t understand the way his words can be interpreted some times. Or maybe he was ignored in his youth…

It also occurred to me that DMK doesn’t read his postings, and maybe he hasn’t thought of that.

Ha ha I finally took the time to figure out who you were talking about! The guy who loves the exclamation point! Another one who makes me reach for the advil bottle!

Who has the time to, or inclination for that matter?

Interesting bike. Never owned a big v twin but have toyed with the idea of a TL1000 or the Aprilia RSV1000. I assume with the low down power they could be quite pleasurable to ride albeit the early TL’s had a bit of a reputatation for shaking their head under heavy acceleration.
The only low reving twin I have had is an XS650 which I thoroughly enjoyed being on. In fact it was my 1st choice for the last 2 seasons as my everyday runaround until I let it go at the end of this summer.

I was just at a red light next to this thing. It looked sporty, but sounded a lot like my old volkswagen bug. Porsche 914.

I have seen one of these in a classic car show here in Norfolk before. It would be spooky if it was this particular car but highly possible.
I think it’s claim to fame is, one of the only cars that look virtually the same from the rear or the front

Studebaker made several models of such “push me pull you” cars.

There are certain people I’ve learned to read the first one or two sentences of their post to do a roll eye and just move on.

And to some of the posts I’ve read here are my thoughts:

Dr. M, while reviled by some here (and for good reason) has a much longer history with some than I do. He does post some interesting points. I take the post for their value, not the poster.

What’s his face, Ross? Yes, @Jen he has some kind of issues with you. I’ve received DM’s from him and have chosen not to add fuel to the fire but to throw ice on it. Why? Because I genuinely like you and think you are a wonderful person. He may be as well, and I have chosen to ask him how he can be a better person and rise above. Time will tell.

While I understand TWR is a pain to many, I’ve come to understand the intent of why he does what he does. While what many see is a demand to be right at all times (which I completely understand) he cares very much about people who can be persuaded because no one is there to offer a counter argument. He is not going to change where his heart takes him. What anyone thinks of him be be damned.

Agree or disagree, I admire that. And every damn time, he comes down on the side of Americans first, supporting our Constitution and the amendments thereof.

We all have our strengths, our weaknesses don’t we?

Our strength must be in our unity for the bigger picture. We should not be nit picking each other. The libs are doing a mighty fine job of that already, aren’t they.

He is one of the Israel-firsters.
He used to have a merged US-Israeli flag as his avatar but changed it after I started using the term “shabbos goy”

Both of them (TWR and Dr) have a mental issue and use this forum as their vomiting ground, which is unfortunate.

…and you use it to spread your hatred of ■■■■ into any thread that offers the slightest opening for some of you vile bullshit.

Oh, no. I don’t spread any hatred against ■■■■■
If I hated ■■■■■ would I have spent a number of my years in Israel?

I want the ■■■■■■ people to acknowledge their carefully hidden crimes against humanity

If you throw ice onto a fire, all you will get is a wet mess. You need to starve it of oxygen.

It really doesn’t matter. Like everyone else here I have a choice. To read or not to read, to participate or not to participate.

No, he isn’t but he does support Israel. So do I.

He used that avatar to tick off people who hate ■■■■ off purposely
