The war pigs have their propaganda against anyone who questions the endless wars.
Somehow it’s not hard for a medic to question the endless wars. They get to stop the bleeding and watch wounded warriors heal a bit before they get their prosthetic limbs.

Why do they wear so much make up? Natural look not popular?
TV lighting requires it…even more so for men.
No it doesn’t require it to look so clown like and unnatural. (I do know what I am talking about 
).
I know you do. I’ve been on TV in a studio and I had to wear makeup…including lipstick. White shirts were not allowed either; they had to be pastel blue.
People without makeup look pale on TV. Sometimes it can resolved a bit with red and blue lights at various levels.
Funeral homes use the same techniques when they display a corpse.
We have a celebrity in TRH. 
Did you play doctor on Days of Our Lives or where you a councilman and had to appear on the local TV station to explain the budget overuns on highway 84’s bridge environmental impact studies in your district? Did TV add pounds to your appearance? Inquiring minds want to know.
Yes, more make up is needed to overcome the studio lights but surely the end result is to look natural, not OTT. Imagine how scary that would look in daylight.
Depends a lot on your posture and whether you let your gut hang out! The camera exaggerates the bad. Lighting done well enhances the good.
