Now, having said that, Florida is one of the States that is the least restrictive on gun ownership and protecting yourself and property.
About 20 years ago I was driving across Alligator Alley and stopped into the one store on the long stretch. It was getting onto dusk and there was a police officer in the store. He pretty much read me the riot act for traveling alone as a female on the Ally. We got to talking about self protection. He basically told me that if you shoot someone on your front porch, drag em into your house before you call the cops.
Granted that was a long time ago but I think the general attitude still remains. If you shoot someone in your home or if you shoot someone because you feel your life is threatened (with it being clear it is) then you are pretty much in the clear.

I didn’t add you because you signed yourself out of the other fights so I figured watching another tantrum thrown by a couple of grown men wasn’t your thing. It started with Toss trying to be nice, grovelling for access to the RH. That’s when we had the vote. Anyhow, he had invited Magog along, presumably because he thought Magog might fight his corner, so Magog and I decided to play him along a bit. He needed backup so added Dr Manshe. Dr Manshe went into a big tirade directed mostly at me. I added some from here and got more shit. Toss was convinced he had allies and that you would all vote for him. I said they were there and could speak for themselves. Before I signed out, I left him with this:
Funny thing was, he also added Patriot, presumably because he thought Patriot would let him in. Patriot didn’t say anything and just signed out.

I don’t understand how it could happen. By law, every time you get treatment or medicine, the medics have to verify your identity and match it to your notes. I think they may also need a witness too, usually another medic.
