I had forgotten Winston, he left FF some time in the last couple of months it seems.

This looks like some heavy duty watching I have found nine parts on youtube so far 
From the first few minutes of the vid it appears to be well researched so I will give it a go

I have a slight technical issue and thought know-everything @asaratis may be able to help. 
In my hasty attempt to prevent RickthePrick/ RosstheToss from messaging me anymore, I changed some of my settings. I did not cancel all email notifications but that was what happened. I have since put everything back to exactly how it was and the email notifications still don’t work.
Firstly, how do I get my email notifications back and secondly, how do I prevent RickthePrick from messaging me again?
It will all be in your profile settings. I’m not sure about the email issue, but I think you can stop all notifications from any poster by muting them.
- click on your avatar at the top right of any page
- click on the gear symbol (Preferences)
- scroll down to Users (under Notifications) and click on Users
- Add names of all the users you want to mute
All notifications from the listed users will be suppressed.
Please note you must also click on Save Changes
Please also note that you can Ignore users…this will suppress their notifications AND their posts.
Regarding the emails…try this:
While in your Preferences,
- scroll to Emails (just above Notifications)
- use the menu choices to reset your preferences
- click on Save Changes
I have all of my email preferences set to Never
I have 10 users on my muted list.

Ok I think I have blocked Ross, but I think the confusion could be with Preferences /notifications. I access this site with both PC (Windows) and phone (Android). It may be the “Disable notifications” button. I played with that. On the PC it said I had to reset it via the browser (?) but on my phone it says I have to change it on every browser I use. Eh?
