The Rabbit Hole

You could be right Asa, I can easily misinterpret many things, perhaps because I am so dumb

Jen doesnā€™t have a problem pointing out when we have missed her point and it appears she even kicked out an ex because he put a pizza in the oven without taking out the plastic, so I will expect at least a kick up the a*rse :rofl::rofl:

Cross party ploy to neuter Brexit and No. 10 negotiating leverage on Monday. Would not surprise me one bit if Theresa May was actually behind the proposal. The speaker should, if he were neutral, shoot the bill down because the executive normally introduces the bill.

Edit - Iā€™m wrong, MPs can submit private members bill, could be dangerous this one.

Because goverment failed to keep their promise they made about 30 years ago.

Evidence of possibly misinterpreting what she wrote. She said he was dumb enough to ask the questionā€¦not that it was the reason for his being an ex.

ā€¦and she didnā€™t say that he actually put the wrapped pizza in the oven.

I have skiiā€™ed but feel that is pales in comparison to sport or dirt motorcycle riding, more like riding a cruiser bike. (I own several of eachā€¦)

I would agree that MC riding takes much more mental focus, especially on threats and problems. That said, a MC offers more offensive and defensive weapons to avoid those threats, superior acceleration, superior maneuvering, brakes, wheeliesā€¦ (Wheelies have saved my biscuits several times because of the odd open manhole cover or log on the trail.)

Speaking of defense, while skiing I have several times had an entirely surprise close call with an empty ski with an overtake delta-V of over 30mph on me. Those things are scary!

Because of my MC inventory, I have introduced a bunch of people, including ladies to MC riding.

Through the training, I stress three rules:

  1. See the accident before it happens, and have two planned escape routes at all times.
  2. Have a zero drink limit.
  3. If you make it through the first year, you might just become a motorcyclist rather than a statistic.

Are these the same ā€œguysā€ that are klutzes in the house and canā€™t cook properly?

I care a lot more about what I can do, than what I look like.

Your body wants to look a certain way. Donā€™t fuck with it!

Regarding house keeping, mine is deplorable but functional. It fully demonstrates my belief that if you canā€™t see something, you might forget that you have it. Very little is hidden away.

Problems arise only when I accumulate more and more stuff and have to add a table to keep from covering stuff with stuff. Still there are piles of stuff under which seldom used articles await my needing them.

Thankfully, I live alone and donā€™t have the worry of being criticized for my eccentric habits.

To me, functionality outweighs aesthetics.

Good read, few surprises.

Makes me feel pretty good that I am caught up on the situation.

We are in a similar situation on this side of the pond with like 20% of our Government shut down, and people that scream that the world will end if we let that Gov shut down flying about the Caribbean and the world with no intent to negotiate in good faith. All of this while their financiers pay to launch ā€œcaravansā€ of South American socialist hellhole refugees at our lightly protected southern border.

Same old NWO/AGW/ā€¦ bullshit, different continent.

One question: what is a ā€œfederastā€?

If the sign of a cluttered desk is a cluttered mind,

what is the sign of an empty desk.

Not that I agree with it, but Iā€™ve heard that a clean desk is the sign of a sick mind.

Personally, I think clutter promotes mental activity, not necessarily cluttered thoughts. I am able to concentrate on whatever it is Iā€™m interested in regardless of the clutter in my peripheral vision.

I know Asa, thatā€™s me making fun of a situation, that is what British humour is. Jen will get it :+1:
This might help !

edit: the sound is dodgy half way in !

this is better get to about 7 mnutes in:

Agree with all three although I have never been cognisant enough to consider having two escape routes.
Of the numerous accidents I have had on bikes, fitness to jump well clear, (even over cars at impact) and learning when I was young to fall and absorb the energy and probably just sheer luck have kept me alive.

I had a few biking friends who werenā€™t so lucky.

Who knows? It may have been Jen that was kicked out! :joy:

Haha, now she might give you a dig in the ribs for that one :joy:

edit: Just a thought Jen, we have been joking about you / your ex in your absence and I just realised we donā€™t really know why he was your ex so hope I havenā€™t been to insensitive ā€¦

Off to chop some fire wood !

Sounds like a nightmare! If I was living on my own, my house would be like a show home with everything put away.

The truth is stranger than your imaginations!
