From talking to people who both motorbike and ski, the āoh shitā bit is the same, but probably more so on a bike because you have so much more to hit, lampposts and kerbs and thatās before other cars. Skis feel faster because you are much closer to the ground.

What baffles me is that men (some) are obviously very intelligent, but they do the dumbest things in the home. An ex asked me once if he had to take the plastic off the pizza before putting it in the oven.

First time I went in a road properly with a road bike the instructor immediately went to 60mph. Previously I was just farting around doing turns and stuff. I was taken back by how fast they went so I had to speed to catch up, so I was doing more than 60mph. My first impression was Iām gonna blow of this fucking bike - because there was no wind protectorā¦ but it was class.
The problem with motorbikes is if you make a mistake chances are you are rolling up the road. Break too heavy in a car you just skid a bit, break too heavy on a bike and you are down if your front wheel skids. Itās not just my own mistakes I have to contend with, which are thankfully rare, itās all the other maniac drivers lol.
So Iāve resigned myself to never riding on the roads here. Itās a death wish.
Yesterday the BBC has the buzzfeed report on Trump as the top story - the same buzzfeed that leaked the discredited Steele report.
Today, Mueller saying the buzzfeed report was not accurate is nowhere near the top. A rhetorical why?

I have a habit Verv of telling any one who wants to ride bikes to just do it.
However what you have stated is becoming more accurate on the U.K. streets.
The driving standards appear to be worsening, possibly just due to the complacency people get with modern vehicles being so damn good and obviously the traffic volumes are increasing constantly.
I would probably still suggest getting ābackā into bikes for someone who has been quite experienced in the past but it takes some serious mileage to get real experience on a bike to be mindful of the many pitfalls. You are dead right, bikes are certainly less forgiving than cars.
If you are thinking about scrambling / off road riding, it could be a good alternative, it is really great fun. Good luck if you go for it

I remember the the name of the program but never saw it. I suppose it goes back to the question about what percentage of male and female hormones we all have that will determine our make up. I donāt mean sexuality but physiological make up.
There are presumably a measurable volume of chemicals that we all produce and more or less of some of them determines how we feel and how we view the world.
