“This is the deep state being exposed,” Chaffetz said. “These people do not want accountability. There are about 110,000 people at the Department of Justice, roughly 10,000 of them are attorneys. … I think they’re scared to death of Donald Trump and Barr and [Connecticut U.S. Attorney John] Durham and certainly [Inspector General Michael] Horowitz because they don’t want people peeling back the onion, looking under the hood of how these people have operated at the Department of Justice. That’s why they’re firing back. But now they’re being exposed.”
If it weren’t for the political involvement of the Trump administration, Michael Flynn would still be facing the charges that he pleaded guilty to.
That’s right! Trump is exposing these Obama leftovers. Duh!
Still doesn’t change the fact that Michael Flynn admitted that he was guilty.
Guilty of what? That the FBI forced Flynn to lie? Hmmm…
What a totally laughable assertion. He was under no duress. He made his statements without coercion and without legal counsel present.
He then admitted to lying.
If only he had our legal expert @Dr_Manhattan by his side to protect the good General from lying through his teeth.
He admited lying, because the FBI were threatening him if he didn’t go ahead with it. It’s been reported all over the news. Oh right, you don’t watch MSM circus.
Yes. He was.
You’d have folded long before him.
So you expect me to believe that a man that rose to his rank in the military didn’t understand what was happening to him and was just an innocent little baby confused by the situation? Give me a break. The guy was a known viper. He was lying through his teeth because he is a liar. And admitted to being a liar too.
Wow! That sounds like a really tough general officer that we should put in charge of a lot of stuff.
Sounds like the right guy to have keeping our most delicate and sensitive state secrets. Probably nothing to worry about if he falls into the wrong hands because he’s so tough.
Better than putting in the hands of McCabe or Brennan.
Apparently not since…ya know…he allegedly caved under “pressure” from being asked basic questions in a conference room…and then (admittedly) lied about it.
Based upon your posting history, what you believe isn’t relevant.
Do you actually know what he allegedly lied about? I am willing to bet you haven’t the slightest clue what that is which makes your entire argument here rather silly. Not surprising coming from you as your entire narrative is pure hyperbole!
So now the legal expert gets to tell us what lies are suitable and what lies aren’t.
Translation: when a lie benefits Trump…it’s fine.
Well tell us what you think he lied about Instead of trying to pivot from answering a question! For not doing so only discredits any argument you make on the contrary! Try again cupcake!
Oh - need to explain things for the general counsel? Ok, I’ll bite. Flynn lied about his calls to Kislyak, which was corroborated by Vice President Pence.
The calls Flynn made were recorded and this was confirmed by Congress.
Thanks you just proved what a clueless moron you are. This is not the foundation on which the charges of him lying was based upon! Your stupidity is working overtime, and only proves my point you have no idea! Holy crap! Your stupidity can’t be fixed!
lol! So then disprove it with sources (other than the Bongino Report).
