I’m not totally against the New World Order. I think total religious freedom (fundamentalism, cults and greedy religious leaders who exploit their followers), uncontrolled free market capitalism (sociopathic corporate CEOs), democracy and total free speech (disinformation) don’t work in practice and need to be eliminated. We do need to work to break down barriers to humanity moving forward in a rational way versus just profiting the rich, however I don’t trust a society that doesn’t have any checks on corrupt government officials which is what this guy fully supports. In that case whoever controls the machine (media, courts) runs the show. You just end up swapping one bad system for another.

There was to be a “new world order” following WW1 with the creation of the League of Nations. Then again following WW2 and creation of the United Nations. Then Gorbachev and Bush referred to the creation of a “new world order” following the collapse of the Soviet Union and end of the Cold War…

I would have at least appreciated a well thought out thread concerning the supposed issues with establishing a new world order.

Well, there aren’t any. But there is a psychological type of human strain that is drawn towards and susceptible to conspiracy. To these people it just isn’t possible that we live in a chaotic world. There has to be a nefarious figure behind a curtain pulling the strings of life and controlling what they do, leaving themselves in an endless battle with the figments of their own unsavory imaginations…
