What Putin announced at the beginning is that he was going to enter Ukraine with a special military operation to protect the Russian speaking peoples of the Donetsk region and to rid it of neo nazis. His military has severely damaged the Ukrainian navy, Air Force and air defense systems, and now they intend to focus on cleansing and clearing eastern Ukraine…….
