The lies we have heard from the media

Really, why don’t you quote one saying so, hmmm?

And sense you think god sent Covid for the Democrats, apparently you think that god favors them…:man_shrugging:

Rahm Emanuel repeated his “never let a crisis go to waste” catchphrase while discussing the coronavirus pandemic.

The former Obama adviser reprisedthe quote he used during the 2008 financial crisis while speaking on ABC’s This Week on Sunday.

Why would God favor people who believe in nothing???

“Never allow a crisis to go to waste,” Emanuel said. “Start planning for the future. This has to be the last pandemic that creates an economic depression. We’re going to have more pandemics, but this has to be the last economic depression.”

How about House majority whip Clyburn

Clyburn saying over a month ago that negotiations on the last, $2 trillion coronavirus economic relief package presented “a tremendous opportunity to restructure things to fit our vision.”

In addition to being majority whip Clyburn almost single handedly rescued Biden’s floundering nomination campaign.

How about OAC, the defacto leader of the House Democrat caucus.

When we talk about this idea of ‘reopening society’ you know, only in America, does the President, when the President tweets about liberation, does he mean go back to work," the Congresswoman said. “When we have this discussion about going back or reopening, I think a lot people should just say ‘no,’ we’re not going back to that. We’re not going back to working 70 hour weeks just so that we can put food on the table and not even feel any sort of semblance of security in our lives.”

Don’t go back to work until we get our agenda passed.

Definition of “godsend”

a very helpful or valuable event, person, or thing.

It has nothing to do with God looking with favor on Democrats. It’s a typical Leftist bird brain straw man to claim it indicates “god favors Democrats.”

In the future perhaps you could do a little research to save yourself embarrassment.

That’s politics. No different than PNAC acknowledging that another Pearl Harbor type crisis would afford republicans the opportunity to advance their own vision…just before W became president…:man_shrugging:

Here you go dipshit………….

No you trust Lisa , Peter , Bob Mueller , Comey , McCabe , and pencil neck Adam Schiff .

A weak attempt at a rebuttal. At the time of 911 the PNAC was a moribund think tank with only a static website to document its existence. There is a world of difference between an essentially abandoned web site and the sitting House majority whip and radical Leftist darling AOC.

It’s not even “politics as usual” the Resistance dictates reflexive and absolute opposition to Trump no matter the cost to the Republic. In the past partisan differences were set aside during times of crisis, but not today’s Democrats.

Well that’s not true, and many of the members of PNAC became part of the Bush administration.

The fact is, politicians, left or right, take advantage of any situation possible that may advance their agenda. Perhaps even are instrumental in creating the situation.

Yes, it is true the PNAC was defunct at the time of the 911 attacks. It’s not unusual for political actors to work in think tanks while moving in and out of government, think John Podesta and the CAP. There is no evidence the work of the PNAC had any influence on anyone but partisan conspiracists. As noted earlier, leading Democrats are actively using the pandemic to advance their political agenda.

Not a word about the specific Democrats advocating exploiting the pandemic to advance their agenda. A vague reference to both sides do it is an attempt at deflection.

Well that was my point, nothing is unusual for politicians of any flavor. Many of the members of PNAC who had a vision for the 21st century ended up in the Bush administration, and pursued those ideologies. Whether you like that or not. It’s what politicians do. But to the partisan, it’s only the opposing side that take advantage of situations to advance their agendas…

Kindly provide quotes with supporting links where PNAC participants who went on to occupy influential positions in the Bush administration or became highly influential elected officials explicitly stated 911 provided them an opportunity to advance their agenda. At your request references for specific Democrats were provided. The same courtesy is appreciated.

These people articulated their plans just a couple years before Bush was elected… they went on to become influential members in his administration.

“The threat posed by US terrorism to the security of nations and individuals was outlined in prophetic detail in a document written more than two years ago and disclosed only recently. What was needed for America to dominate much of humanity and the world’s resources, it said, was “some catastrophic and catalysing event - like a new Pearl Harbor”.

The attacks of 11 September 2001 provided the “new Pearl Harbor”, described as “the opportunity of ages”.

You were provided direct quotes from leading Democrat politicians directly describing their plans to leverage the pandemic to advance their agenda. In response you link an editorial from a Leftist pushing a conspiracy theory about the PNAC. Where are the quotes you were challenged to provide? They don’t exist.

The PNAC is absolutely not conspiratorial. And too bad if you don’t like the source…
John Pilger is a critic of the main stream media, which would normally endear him to the Trumper. He’s been given awards for his journalism and documentaries in several countries and his credentials are superior to anything you’ve got. He did better than documenting a couple of cliche’ one liners, using PNAC’s own material he laid out their vast plan to capitalize on the next emergency and crisis… We’ve been here before. After 9/11, Congress rushed to adopt the Patriot Act—a bill prompted by a national emergency, but one that was effectively a wish list of every surveillance power the government had ever wanted, without a real nexus between the novel powers sought and increased safety.

Currently, republican governors are using the pandemic as excuse to advance right wing ideologies like attacking abortion funding and availability. And Trump is advancing things that have a tenuous at best relation to CV19 like suspending immigration into the US, no surprise with Trumps history of anti immigration (other than his family) but still remarkable.

So, the GOP is far busier taking advantage of emergencies than the democrats are.

Be careful with the term “agenda.”
Many politicians are interested in money, sex and power.

But real agendas run for centuries, over generations.
Like the Rothschilds agenda. They have been scheming to take over the world from the time they were just money lenders in Frankfurt, Germany centuries ago.

This really explains the problem. There are people that really believe in a GOP conspiracy. Good grief.

Not a GOP conspiracy. That’s far too general…

The leftist have the conspiracy because they move like zombie hoards and roaches. The GOP unity is the regular people not the establishment GOP who don’t have much unity and don’t move in packs like Triffids.
