WASHINGTON (AP) — Attorney General Merrick Garland on Monday directed federal authorities to hold strategy sessions in the next 30 days with law enforcement to address the increasing threats targeting school board members, teachers and other employees in the nation’s public schools.
In a memorandum, Garland said there has been “a disturbing spike in harassment, intimidation, and threats of violence against school administrators, board members, teachers, and staff who participate in the vital work of running our nation’s public schools.”

After the NSBA claimed in its letter that some rhetorical clashes between school boards and parents may amount to domestic terrorism, Attorney General Merrick Garland issued a memorandum that instructed the FBI to take the lead on a task force to address threats against school officials, including creating a centralized way to report such threats.
Which in essence is retarded and proof positive that this was a politically motivated agenda to weaponize the FBI against parents. If we had a normally functioning DOJ (not politicized) then local and state Governments with LEO are more than capable of handling domestic terrorism issues. Why is the FBI even needed? Yes this can’t be answered other than the pretty obvious standpoint. Even the NSBA knows they fked up after Merrick Garland’s testimony was going off the rails and now are trying to cover themselves.
